Initially, I installed a traditional light-weight sheet metal hose rack on the side of our horse's shed, but our horse completely destroyed it in a couple of days. He watched with considerable interest as I removed the old bent-up rack and used the included heavy-duty lag screws and flat washers to mount this heavy aluminum hose holder.As soon as I mounted this robust aluminum rack he used his mouth to try and pull it off the wall or break it. When he couldn't pull it off the wall, he tried pushing it without success. This hose rack survived our horse's best try to bend it or break it loose from the wall of his shed.Next I rehung the hose and, as you can see in the photo, he began to pull the hose off the rack. Fortunately, I was able to fish some heavy twine behind this rack and securely tie the hose to the rack to prevent our horse from pulling it loose as you see in the photo. PROBLEM SOLVED. This rack holds 25-feet of standard garden hose quite nicely.The left-over heavy twine used to bale his hay does a great job of securing the hose to this Marine Grade Aluminum Powder Coated Hose - line Holder. I bought this because I needed a hose hanger that could withstand the hot Florida sun and salt air. It came with mounting hardware for a piling but I used concrete screws (and the washers provided) to mount it to the side of my house. It easily holds a 100’ hose. It seems to be good quality so I hope it lives up to my expectations. The seller shipped it quickly and I received it earlier than expected. It shipped from Florida and I live in Florida so that probably helped with shipping.

Doesn't hold as much as you think if too close to ground on looping.

Used these to hand 50 amp SOOW cords for emergency vehicles. Holds the cords just fine.
