I got this only because one of the previous positive reviews has a picture of the DND gel included so I assumed this light would cure the products I work with in the salon which include the DND brand gel in a reasonable time. It does not at all. It takes 2 minutes and 30 seconds to dry EACH LAYER of gel, that end up being 10 minutes just to dry the gel to a sticky, an almost dry state.I use a total of 4 coats with the DND and other gels. Side note DND is a no wipe gel brand. But I use a Base coat, 2 coats of color and a top coat. After 2 and a half minutes the base coat for DND brand gel is sticky. Each color coat is sticky and the top coat sticky. After 5 minutes, that’s just the base coat and one color coat the machine really heats up the customers hand.I tried it with my builder gels and that was a complete fail. I only tried IBd and Light Elegance but this light didn’t do much. I would say it cured them about 30% after 15 minutes.Now I will say the machine is easy to use, it’s light weight and holds a charge, the buttons are very easy to press. Has a high and low setting, why I don’t know the high seems low to me. It just doesn’t dry well. It may work with the gels one can buy in the local stores but as far as nail techs working in salons, don’t bother with this one.

This nail lamp is a must have for at home gel manicures. Over just a few uses, you definitely get your money’s worth.Pros:- Portable.- Lightweight.- Rechargeable. No more wires or outlets to worry about when you paint your nails.Cons:- instruction booklet is basic. A more detailed one would be more helpful.Overall, this lamp is powerful. It cures not only gel polish but nail enhancements such as builder gel and polygel. It cures both UV and LED gels. What sold me on this one is the portability. I was specifically looking for a rechargeable lamp that’s powerful and a decent price point. I highly recommend this nail lamp to those looking for personal use.

Love this light. Been running my nail business for almost 2 months now and this light is great!

I bought it. It very useful for my hobbies. Its battery takes 10 more hours. I always happy to use it with my friends.

This item looks very nice and it goes on automatically when your hand enters the lamp, but that’s where the good news ends.The lights must be way less than 48w because it takes more than 4 minutes of light per layer of gel to get the ‘sticky’ off.It’s extremely frustrating to put your hand under the light for so many minutes. It adds up to more than 20 or 30 minutes per hand! Way too long.

Good lamp it just sucks at charging.
