Easy to Use
I just received this unit (overnight, thank you Amazon) and used it immediately, which was possible since it came fully charged. I love that you do not have to have an app up to use it. The manual is easy to understand and it shows 4 methods, 2 preferred. I hold it between my palms and watch it on the unit's small screen. It shows your heart beat rate, as well as the graph. On your phone or tablet, you can create a pdf. On a PC you can print the report or save to a pdf. The only downside for the PC is that you have to use the provided USB cord instead of using Bluetooth. Should I find that not to be true, I will update this statement.I had a bout of arrhythmia 5 years ago and purchased a portable ECG. It required an app to use it and the app required far too many permissions. The unit seemed defunct this time so I ordered this one and am extremely pleased with it. No permissions required other than nearby devicesShould my opinion change, I will update this review. I normally wait until I have used a product for a bit before posting a review, but I am so pleased with it, I wanted to share right now! I will be sending reports to my GP in hopes of getting a referral to a cardiologist without waiting 10 days to see the GP!Update:I sent 3 reports to my GP and he said he couldn't actually tell anything due to artifact(s?). I wrote to EMAY and was advised to use the 2nd option - chest/palm. I did this and sent it back to my GP and he immediately ordered an EKG. That test verified the arrythmia/accidental VB shown on my EMAY test. I am now waiting for a referral to a cardiologist for an event test. EMAY has been wonderful with communications. They asked for a follow-up regarding my use of the chest method. They even did a read on one of the tests that my GP said MAY be a-fib. EMAY thinks it is arrythmia or PVC, but acknowledged it was a doctor who did the a-fib possibility. The longer test should confirm things and I will be curious to see what shows up! Thanks for your help, EMAY.

Works very well!
If you're looking at buying this because you're having some heart issues, I'm here to tell you that it works very well. My son was having heart issues and it picked up on it right away. We were able to take the readings to the cardiologist and he was impressed as he hadn't seen information from this machine yet. He compared it to another brand that required a monthly paid subscription and this one IS free to get the information from it. My husband and I tried it out to see if it was actually working and am happy to say we didn't have any abnormalities. My son had several abnormalities such as bradycardia, arrhythmia, skipped heart beats and extra heart beats - when he had an echocardiogram, it showed all of that. The only thing it didn't tell us that the echo did was leaky valves and left ventricle dysfunction, but it's not something an EKG would show anyway. I highly recommend!

An amazing little gadget!
This little device really does track your heart accurately. I took it in to an appointment with my father when he had an EKG, and we tested this side by side and it gave similar results. This is a great tool to monitor heart health, and to catch any issues early which is crucial, especially in today's world of almost everyone having had covid at least once (which often causes long term damage to the heart and other organs even if you were asymptomatic, sadly). This sort of thing will become increasingly important to monitor, from kids to the elderly, the longer covid circulates. I highly recommend this, especially since it doesn't require any subscription like other devices do. I'll also say, the customer service was great. A week or so after I got it, I had an email from the company asking if everything was working okay and if I had any questions, and it wasn't just an automated message, either. I'll be buying more Emay in the future, I'm particularly interested in trying the sleep study/tracking device.

Inexpensive, and easy to use, tool to check heart rhythm
It's easy to use. I hold it up right below my left nipple by my index finger and press firmly and voilà! 30 seconds later the EKG is done.I've had heart failure with a massively enlarged upper heart; along with persistent AFib, since 1987, so it's nice to be able to get a basic EKG strip 2 reading at home. Since my heart never wants to have a normal beat and rhythm, I judge my heart beat, rhythm and status by my symptoms... my exercise endurance, my ease of breathing, my lack of chest pains, my lack of swelling. But, it's nice to be able to view an EKG strip 2 at home.My wife has been battling Ovarian Cancer and Colon Cancer since Nov 2000. Chemotherapy can do damage to her heart, so it's comforting to be able to check her basic EKG at home, plus her BP.All in all, it's well worth the money.

Medical Technology In The Palm Of Your Hand
I have played with my EKG/ECG monitor and I love it. So much medical technology that fits in your shirt pocket. The instructions are well written making use very simple. It is a stand alone unit but once connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth, you can track everything and then send the info to the World and of course print it. Does this unit replace the hospital? No, of course not! But it does let you keep track, and possibly alert you if something is wrong. For the price, it’s a steal! Highly recommended.

AMAZING! A true life-saver!
I recently started chemotherapy, which caused damage to my heart. I now suffer from ventricular bigeminy. I went through a period of time when I would call the paramedics and once they arrived or once they got me to the hospital, the extra heart beats would stop. I even had one paramedic ask if I was just anxious about things. #SoFrustrating Having this portable ECG Monitor was PROOF that I wasn't imagining things. After showing my results to the ER staff, I finally got the treatment that I needed. I was also able to use this to monitor my heart beats while I waited for my Holter monitor appointment. I love that I can download my results as well. The app and the device are super easy to use! I give this 5 stars. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Easy to use, works well
In the past I've been given a Holter monitor to wear for 2 and 3 day periods without getting a trace of my intermittent arrhythmia. Since I bought this monitor I've managed to catch traces of tachycardia, bradycardia, and various forms of arrhythmias. I took printouts with me to a recent cardiologist appointment and he confirmed they would be very useful to him. The monitor can be held between the palms or against the chest to get a reading. The former is more convenient but the latter gives a clearer trace. Importantly, you only need the device to get a reading - you don't have to start a phone app first. The android and windows apps for viewing the traces are a bit inconsistent. The android app allows you to send a PDF copy of the trace via email, but can't print directly. The windows app allows for printing but not creation of a PDF. The format of the ECG report differs between the two. You can add your own comments to the reports. Editing comments is easier with the windows app. Comments in the android PDF report are printed in too large a font.

A fantastic little device
I am amazed at this little device. It is so simple to use. I had my first ECG graph in PDF format on my laptop within 5 minutes of opening the box.I got this in order to capture episodes of palpitations I experience from time to time (but never occur when I go to see the doctor).Although I have no longterm experience using this device and know little to nothing about ECG graphs (which I will rectify) I would suggest using the W2 method as shown in the accompanying user manual. I think this method records the heart rhythm with more detail.

Highly recommend
Have been using for about 3 months after increasing cases of atrial fibrillation.I keep a record of all the episodes which I was then able to show my heart consultant and he was able to send me for further test.He said it was very useful seeing a print out of all of the episodes .I now carry the EMAY with me at all times, very easy to use and only took a few minutes to down load app and set up on my iPad.Would be nice if it came with a case to keep it safe, but apart from that I would highly recommend this device

Brilliant little gadget- works really well and no monthly subscription unlike some others...
I carry it in my pocket all the time. When I feel unsettled I just turn it on, hold it between my hands and there is my ECG, even while walking down the street! The monitor also identifies possible abnormalities. Downloading the recording to the PC app gives a much better display. I found just capturing the app image off the PC screen with Snippet gave a good quality picture which I could email to my doctor. I've been trying to capture spurious events for years but they never happened during the periods I was wearing an ECG from the hospital. Within a couple of weeks of buying this I have been able to capture several events and have a pretty good stab at diagnosing them too! Very pleased.
