This table seems fine, and so does the company
This table seems fine. It appears to be well-built, but is also lightweight and compact. The included storage bag is very sturdy. The table was well-packed in foam and cardboard, but even so, the top had one tiny dent and a superficial scratch. But hey, this is a camping table, so it is going to see a lot worse! Travelchair has a revealing video on their website that compares the ruggedness of their products to the competition, which may justify their higher prices. The most obvious difference I can see is that the top of this table has 7 wide slats, whereas the competitors mostly have 9 narrower ones - more parts to flex and break, I suppose. Travelchair is a women-led family-owned business in Gig Harbor, WA, and they get positive reviews for customer support. The best price by far was to purchase the table from seller Amazon.com, albeit with a longer delivery lead time than the other vendors. But in actuality, the table arrived only 12 days after the order was placed, earlier than I was expecting.

A few helpful notes
Five stars for both table and customer service. Our table top had some manufacturing defects and the seller responded quickly and replaced the top right away. They maintained communications during the process and there was never a cost to us. Stellar serviceWe've had the table for 10 days and took it camping for three nights. The table is tall enough for us to use our camp chairs which have an 18" seat hight - this is unique in tables smaller than 4ft x 4ft. Alternatively, there was room under the table for our food bins. The legs open with a single spreading motion and adjust at each leg for utmost convenience. The cross bars were not only not in the way, they afforded options for us to clip ditty bags in different places. It being aluminum, we used an Esbit stove on the top. There was no damage from doing this and no heat transfer - we could touch the table right by the stove without noticing heat on the table. Very stable, easy put up and take down, not bulky, and a pleasure to use.We will use this table for multi-day river trips. The bag it comes in is very nice; two separate sides each with it's own zipper. That bag is not for taking down a river. It has a little weather resistance but we'll be putting it in a larger dry bag for river travel - still in it's own bag. We're happy to stand by the manufacturer of this table and this seller.

Solid table, well built and dependable.
I bought one of these years ago and it served very well. There are few tables with adjustable legs and even fewer this portable. It weighs a bit, but that's because it's steel and aluminum construction, not some flimsy plastic. Setting up with patience and ordinary care this table should last a very long time. Puzzled by negative reviews. A couple months back someone broke into my storage unit and stole my old table. Had to have another one and didn't hesitate to buy the same model again. I just used it on its first camping trip and it performed very well. I highly recommend this table to anyone who is going to have to set up on uneven ground and needs a bit of space without filling up the entire back of the car.29-Jul-2022 Update: After many outings I have realized I need more space and ordered another table. These are very good and almost a dozen friends have picked one up after seeing mine in use. Last time out was for 2022 ARRL Field Day - holding up my laptop, transceiver, panadapter, meter and power distribution.

Travel Chair Canyon Table
Every light camping table I've ever owned was flimsy. This table is a beast-extendable legs are sturdy, like a high-end camera tripod. At 10.5lbs, best compromise of weight, storing size, usable space and strength. Big enough for two and food to eat from using collapsible full-height camping chairs (perfect height). Legs will shorten if you have the need to lower the table (highest position will support 75lbs, lowered 225lbs-use it as a chair!). I plan on using it to put my Weber "Gas Go Anywhere" grill on; including cooking accessories and grub, at 28" high plus the grill, it's perfect. The table is aluminum and will tolerate gas grill heat. Also, if we camp at a spot where there's no picnic table, it's perfect for the two of us. I hate buying the second best-this table is #1.

great design, faulty function
i thought this table looked good, was a perfect size, and figured it was a smart design to have legs that adjust to uneven ground for camping. allmthis is true, but having used it several times, i have encountered a flaw. the legs freeze up. i think it could be that dust and dirt make them stick, even though i clean it really well each use. i have now resorted to using a pliers to make the legs move and even so, it is a challenge. there is plastic, accordian type material inside the legs, and i'm pretty sure that i'll only get a couple more uses out of it before it just won't slide at all anymore. pretty bummed, because if it actually worked well, this is a great camp table.

It's just perfect for my application
This fold up table will fit into my motorcycle towed camper. It's well made (made in China), folds up easily and comes in a two zippered travel bag. Setup is easy and sturdy enough for most. 1 star off because I thought it would be a bit lighter but still happy with the purchase.

Very sturdy and easy to use on uneven camp ground!
This table was a gift for my son who goes white water rafting in Colorado and the table fits perfect in the raft and makes a nice table along side the riverbank when it's time to set up camp. It's a perfect size for 2 people and a few side dishes.Well worth the money!

Very high quality table
I'm using this table to provide additional work space inside my RV and it works perfect for that. I'm tall and the table is too short for my legs, so I purchased some solid risers to go under each leg. If needed we can easily take it outside to extend our camp site.
