My husband got these to play with the puppy. He likes to bite when he gets really excited so my husband wanted something where it wouldn't kill his hands and arms. These gloves work perfect for that. They are a little big but it doesn't really affect anything. They have some weight to them but that helps with the dog not being able to bite through the material. I think these gloves are good quality and are worth the cost.

These are so great for my needs. I own and operate a one-on-one grooming salon, and I also do a lot of small animal rescue. I have tested out a few different bite-proof gloves and I find outside of the gloves made for chefs, these allow me the most dexterity and protection. I think they are well worth the price tag and they still allow me to do my work to my best abilities.

My cat is very gentle, but gets tried of his kick toys quickly (the ones they kick with their back legs). I wanted to give these a try for more interactive play unlike his other toys. He knows to be gentle with me and others, but once I take these out, he can kick his back legs to his hearts content. When they first got here, I put them out for him to get used to and added a bit of catnip. Now that he is comfortable with them, he is obsessed. He just drags it over when he wants to play. This hasn’t encouraged bad behavior (he knows any form poor behavior is not tolerated), it just gave him a nice safe outlet for crazy play for both me and my cat. Highly recommend for play oddly enough. Very durable and not a tooth or nail will get through.

i had an extremely vicious dog that i was contracted to watch and these worked well when it came to handling him. it did manage to take one of the gloves off but one glove seemed to be enough to handle it. for reference it was a bull terrier(demon dog) and it tried its best to bite through the glove

Wonderful bite resistant gloves for handling birds of prey. I volunteer at a raptor refuge and these gloves are perfect for handling owls, hawks, vultures and great blue herons. Very comfortable and the fingers are flexible and fit my hands. These gloves are so well-liked at the Refuge that we wore out the first pair and had to buy two more.

I ordered Amazon's "best seller" wildlife gloves before these gloves but a 5lb cat bit through the wrist and broke skin the first time I wore them. These gloves are MUCH better. The leather is thicker and they have a thick liner inside that doesn't hinder mobility. She hasn't been able to bite or scratch me through them. I like the longer length because they don't expose my forearm if they slip down due to their large size. I care for and TNVR feral cats so I probably should have had these gloves in my arsenal already but I got them for an abandoned cat who I think was abused. She has progressed to loving on my legs when I get out of the car but attacks my arm if I reach over her to put her food down. She is the only abandoned cat I haven't been able to rehome due to her aggressiveness so I'm hoping these gloves help me earn her trust in addition to protecting me.

I ordered these gloves because my son has a bearded dragon who’s never been picked up or taken out of his cage so they were bought to prevent being bitten. After waiting till almost 8 o’clock to get the package, I open it to a horrendous smell. Gloves had a whole bunch of stains and what looks like to be mold on the gloves. They were DEFINITELY 100% USED. The threading to the gloves were hanging out and torn. They’re very thick, which made it impossible to be able to pick up the bearded dragon. Very irritating, disappointing and definitely overpriced for what you get. Definitely didn’t spend $20 to get molded gloves. Definitely will be getting my money back ASAP !!!!!

As a former veterinary technician, I've had some experience handling difficult animals, so when I had to catch my own hyper-fearful kitty to board prior to moving, I decided to give these a try. She'd already bitten me pretty badly in the first attempt to catch her, and the bite got infected almost immediately, resulting in a double dose of antibiotics, so leather gloves seemed like a good option for a second attempt. They aren't rawhide gloves, though, just fairly heavy suede, and unfortunately, she was able to bite right through them--less deeply, of course, and since I was already on antibiotics, the bite didn't get infected, but still not "bite-proof." On the plus side, they're long and provide good arm coverage, and soft enough to allow at least a little manual dexterity, but I can't recommend them for an animal that's likely to bite with any force. I think they'd be effective in preventing scratches, if that's the primary concern.

I think they are an excellent product. Definitely serve their purpose. Can feel the stray bite down but safe from any punctures. Now strays are de-flea'd

Diese Handschuhe haben mir geholfen mich beim einfachen von zwei Katzen und einem Waschbären nicht gebissen oder gekratzt zu werden! Das Dicke material macht die Feinmotorik etwas schwierig, aber schützt auch tatsächlich vor bissen der spitzen zähne. Durch die Länge der Handschuhe ist ein vollumfänglicher Schutz auch vor schlagenden Krallen gewährt.

Zweckentfremdet für schwierige Katze. Nachdem der letzte Versuch ihn einzufangen mit einem Biss in den Daumen und einer folgenden OP geendet hat, mussten diese Handschuhe her... Diesmal gab es nur Abdrücke, aber durchbeißen konnte er nicht mehr. Halten was sie versprechen!! Klasse
