I bought these molds because I was tired of spending money on store-bought fruit popsicles. Now I can make my own at home with any flavor I want, and they’re so much better! The molds are sturdy, very practical, and incredibly easy to use. They come with a stand that keeps them upright and neatly organized while freezing. I also love that each stick has a built-in drip guard, so if the popsicle starts to melt a little, it keeps your hands clean. The size is perfect because the popsicles come out nice and large, making them much more satisfying than many other molds I’ve tried. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend these molds to anyone who enjoys making homemade frozen treats.

So just to clarify I’ve been using this for the third time now and nothing has been going wrong. If you do enough review readings on this product you’ll find that the best ways to use this product are the following 1. When filling up the containers with liquid/milk/ whatever it is you’re using. do not fill it up all the way, The reason for this? It comes down to simple science, Liquid when it freezes WILL expand once frozen. Another thing is when inserting the handle the liquid will also rise a bit too so keep that in mind as well and adjust accordingly . So because of this you must leave some air space I personally leave about an inch of airspace to allow for said expansion of ice. If you fill it and pack it tightly the ice won’t have expansion space and will ultimately crack the plastic mold container. Aesthetically it’s not the best looking thing since you’ll have an air gap between the ice treat and the base, but it does allow the ice drips when it melts to get caught into the base holder which is another good reason why you shouldn’t fill it up all the way. It’s either an unpleasant look or a cracked plastic piece choose your poison! 2. Once the liquid is set inside the plastic molds it is important that you know how to set the handles in too! nothing complicated, the molds are designed to have a very snug fit if you press them down hard enough, but I can see this being a flaw for when you need to take out the treat, because it can make you unintentionally have to pull the base out harder than needed. And that will cause the stick that holds the treat and base together to snap easily, so to remedy this problem all I do is (after pouring your liquid) gently place the handle on top without forcing it in all the way to have that snug fit. If you find that the popsicle handles are crooked , what I do is push it down hard enough from one side just so it’s half way snugged in there. But not completely sealed. Half way meaning front half snug and back half loose. not side to side The half way snug fit is perfect for maintaining it just in the center spot while not having to struggle while pulling out the treat while frozen. A gentle pull will do the trick. 3. Setting the molds on the base plate to hold the treat together is entirely up to you how you want to do it, some people place the empty molds onto the base plate first and then pour the liquid, I don’t have a steady hand I admit so for me to not spill any liquid and make a sticky mess would be impossible for me, unless I had a funnel that would be easier but you still have the added risk to accidentally tipping over the molds that have already been poured liquid into and that could be frustrating, to avoid all that I simply just take one plastic mold, hold it in my hand and use the other hand to pour in the liquid just with right amount (as I mentioned before) , close the opening with the handle with the half way method I mentioned and then I place them gently onto the base plate. When inserting it into the holes of the base plate for this I don’t use excessive force to jam it in there but I also don’t do it too gently either just enough pressure to keep it in place so that it’s standing upright on its own. 3. After it’s frozen and ready to eat. You can’t just open the freezer grab your popsicle and pull it out of the container mold by force. This will create a lot of pressure on that flimsy thin stick that holds your popsicle and base handle together and literally break it off. The Key is to run it over some warm water for about 30 seconds or more you will physically see the popsicle inside getting some air pockets just as it’s ready to be pulled out, next I gently pull slowly and you’re good to go! The key here is patience. Clean up is easy , hot water and gentle soap scrubbing as soon as you’re done with the treat, otherwise it gets solid and harder to clean especially inside the mold. I don’t own a dishwasher so I can’t really say anything about that! If you follow these steps here you will not be disappointed with this product. 5 stars for me! I’m getting ready to order my second set because it’s hot! And 6 popsicles are not enough for me and the family!

These popsicle molds work well and are great for making homemade frozen treats. I like that they’re reusable and easy to clean. The only downside is it takes a little elbow grease (or running under warm water) to get the pops out of the mold but overall, still a solid purchase!

Who knew I wax poetic about plastic ice pop molds?! I adore these. No, I don't have kids; I just need something cold after a hot afternoon in the garden or when I get home from work. "Natural" juice pops are hideously expensive, so I tried these with big jars of juice. The result is fabulous. SPACE You don't need the stand once the pops have frozen, and possibly not even then IF you are careful. The tops kind of "click" shut, and that seal is fairly good. None have leaked yet, but I'd still take care making sure each was upright before it froze. My frezzer is often stuffed too full to accomodate the bottom stand, so I just put each between things, on the freezer's door shelves. No problem. CLACKITY CLACK OF PIECES & MISSING PARTS? not. Now, usually, I really dislike kitchen gear that has too many parts or parts that are clumsy and therefore hard to store. This stores beautifully -- it takes up just enough space for what it is and no more than that. I throw both parts in one of the dish washer's flatware bin, so it makes clean up really easy. I use the bottom stand for storage, tho to tell you the truth, they are in almost continuous use. PROBLEMS? I want to list problems, but I don't have any, expect perhaps that at first, I found it difficult to get the tops off. Remember I said the tops "click" shut with the bottoms? Well, after a little experimentation, I found that you really just have to hold the bottom for, say, 20-30 seconds OR leave one out for two minutes at most. That melts the frozen juice just enough to easily release the tops. It is also important to note that although I really put a lot of pressure on the handles trying to get them off (by leaning them left and right), none ever came close to breaking off. They have withstood similar abuse from visiting children and impatient adults, no problem. I also tend to chew on pens, and I can barely get a tooth mark on the inner handles of these. I also have tried freezing juice that I mashed up in my bullet blender, and most versions make excellent frozen pops. You know, as if you froze a smoothie. Freezing gazpacho was my only non-winner, BUT these molds did not retain any onion smell -- hard to believe, but true.

I read the reviews before purchasing, so I made sure my product was coming from Amazon to ensure I was getting an authentic one and not a smaller knock off version like some of the others warned. So, I was quite disappointed when I retrieved this package from the mail and it was clearly not in a box. A telltale sign that it was a knockoff. Also with a higher possibility of arriving damaged. As it turned out, it did come in branded packaging, just not the one I was expecting. It was exactly as I ordered, and the perfect size with no damage from shipment. I cleaned them right away, which was was easy. They come the perfect size to fit a standard sponge into. It's a bit snug so you can get a real scrub going if you wiggle it around with purpose. A bottle brush would be much more convenient, but I don't happen to have one, and the sponge worked anyways. I then immediately set to making lemonade popsicles. They came out easily when following the directions and were so very yummy! The portion sizes are definitely too large for a younger child, so I'll have to keep these stashed when my nephew comes over. But for an older child or an adult who doesn't think popsicles come with an age limit, they are perfect. Pro tip: whole lemon slices are a great aesthetic but are very inconvenient when actually eating the popsicle lol. I will definitely be buying more. Hopefully this corona business will be ending soon so I can fill my freezer with these things, fill them up with margaritas and throw a pool party. Until then, it'll be a popsicle party of one. So, them being able to be removed separately is a real convenience.

Pros: easy to clean (top rack dishwasher) easy to use Cons: Too big - I know it sounds weird to say it, but for kids these are a bit too big. There is a size smaller, order those instead Fragile - These are very fragile, which is just bad design. If you drop them out while taking out of the freezer, they shatter easily. We're down to 3 of 6. Freezer space - The idea of the base to set the in the refrigerator is appealing, but it's too big to fit in most freezers (IMO). If you're normal (sometimes I consider myself as such) you don't have an abundance of freezer space. If you don't have the space to set the entire popsicle stand in your freezer, you need the Plan B of sticking them individually where you can fit them. This doesn't work either, because the tops don't fit snugly enough. You'll find yourself a spot, go to place it, then the lid pops off and you loose your smoothie-pop. You will swear, and you will be right to do so. Summary: If you must buy them despite the Cons, go with the smaller size. They're a better portion size for the kid, and they'll fit in your freezer a little easier. I won't go so far as saying NOT to purchase, because we do use them A LOT. I constantly make non-fat yoghurt, all-fruit smoothies for my son with a variety of fruits. He views them as a treat, so it's a win/win.

These are perfect. They are nice and big. They snap into the base so there is no concern that they will tip over and spill while moving into the freezer

After reading some reviews on Amazon, I settled on these moulds and they have been perfect. A good size - not as big as a Magnum but not far off. None of them have broken, they go in the dishwasher and have all survived intensive use over the hot summer. It's really easy to make your own ice-cream lollies, I just mix cream, yoghurt, condensed milk and whatever extras I feel like e.g. chocolate chips, crumbled biscuits, raspberries, lemon curd. You do need some height in the freezer for the base and moulds - if you have an upright freezer check the height of the shelves. To remove the lollies from the moulds I leave them in a jug of cold water for 3-4 minutes.

These work as intended. Larger than I expected when I ordered them, these make popsicles about the length of your hand. Make great popsicles and are easy to remove once frozen if you run under hot water for a moment. Last bites in the bottom of the handle are hard to get to without a spoon, but the drip catching feature makes it worth it.

If you are looking for a perfect mold for your homemade Popsicles please really consider buying these. You will not be disappointed. I don't usually write reviews but I love these pop molds so much I think everyone should invest in a set or two. They come out perfect every single time. It's very easy to clean. Just run the ice pops under hot water to remove the cap before eating. Enjoy!
