LeakSmart Automatic Leak Detection/Water Appliance Shut Off Kits for Dishwashers

After dealing with a water leak from our dishwasher, I decided to go see if I could find a product that would not only alert you to a leak, but also cut off the water supply. This valve does exactly that. It produces an audible alarm and after water is detected, it quickly shuts off the water at the valve. I also got a smart sensor that I hooked up to flash the bedroom and living room lights if it senses water. Between the two, any leaks will no longer have the opportunity to destroy our flooring. Also would recommend a dishwasher pan to help save your flooring. Much easier to clean up a little water there than when it runs under your flooring, making for a squishy kitchen.

Quality controller, valve shutoff, and moisture detector strip for use with a dishwasher, when what you need is automatic water shutoff to only the appliance with the issue. The system is easy to setup. The only additional parts required were AA batteries for battery backup of the unit during a power outage to the circuit the unit is plugged into, but not the dishwasher (a rare occurrence, if ever).
