Clairol Natural Instincts 6A Light Cool Brown

I had a blonde/ bronde baliage at the hairdressers a few months ago, then tried to lift it a little my self at home with and obviously ended up with a brassy uneven result. I had about 10cm of natural growth at my roots and decided to try and match it with a natural brown. I used the 6A cool light brown . The result was far better than i expected. I left it on for 20 minutes and kept my eye on it as it was going onto bleached hair. It looks great, it didn't go green as some people suggested it might as i was covering blonde. I think It looks pretty natural and is pretty even considering the brass underneath was so patchy. It made my hair soft and caused zero damage. I didn't love the smell, (chemical flowery smell) but it was only on for 20 mins so a small price to pay for great results. Very happy.

I have suffered from alopecia in the past and am very cautious about what I use on my hair, so I chose this as it is a vegan, natural product . I have to say that I’m pleasantly surprised with the quality . It was incredibly easy to manage and I could use the dye without assistance. It smelt nice, too . Best of all , the colour really did perfectly match the picture on the box. I won’t be returning to a hair salon as this is a fraction of what I’d spend at a hairdresser , and the results are equally good. The one thing I would recommend is leaving the dye on longer if you’re covering very grey roots , as my roots took longer to absorb the dye .

This is the best hair dye if you want a true ash brown colour to your hair. I liked the fact that it didn't turn red or brassy after a few weeks. The smell won't make your eyes water either. The only downside is that it doesn't last as long as it claims and it won't cover every grey but otherwise I would highly recommend as the colour is a true Ash Brown.

Please don't hesitate to purchase this product. I previously bleached my natural brown hair, which became so damaged I decided to stop. After letting my natural brown hair grow 10 cm, alot of gray streaks were showing, I was too hesitant to use a permanent colour so purchased this brand. This hair dye is so easy to use, it really is a beautiful natural light cool brown and came out more vibrant than the picture on the box. My gray streaks now look lighter and natural. The longevity for me was 20 shampoos. I recommend this brand and colour.

Got this dye as wanted to cover up regrowth of hair that I wish to grow out. Unfortunately the coverage isn't great nor is the colour. I gave 3 stars as the end result is likely due to my bleached ends but it did not cover the greys and the colour isn't what I hoped for. Annoying smell but I've had worse. I can't comment on someone who hasn't got bleach in their hair but if you do, note that depending on lighting hair looks copper or even a bit green. I'm glad it's a semi so it'll wash out. Perhaps I should have gone for a darker shade.

Excellent, very close to the colour shown, silky and shiny hair, very even, no patches, hope it lasts but will buy again!

I brought this as was growing permanent dye out of my hair, but got fed up with the ugly root regrowth, so thought I'd use a semi permanent so it gradually washes out to disguise roots, wish I'd never bothered not a very nice colour kind of an ugly brown/auburn colour, so couldn't wait for it to wash out, almost 10 weeks on and it's still, actually worse dirty ugly ginger colour, root regrowth again, so much for 28 washes and it's gone, so I either dye again with different colour or wait for this revolting colour to grow out, I wanted a temporary colour not permanent so I could be free of dying, once I got my natural colour to the length I wanted, now im stuck, don't waste your time it's not semi permanent, and colour is ugly not a cool brown more, brown/auburn that fades to ginger and stays there, very annoyed.

If you got sensitive scalp I highly recommend. Very gentle, nice colour ✅ Made in 🇩🇪 good quality
