Does this really work ?

I'm not sure what you mean by this question. I bought this cat for a gift for my sister-in-law who had a Siamese cat. This toy was to sit on her bed.

Is this a soft cuddly type stuffed animal that would be good for a child to sleep with or more for decoration?

This little guy is soft and cuddly. His legs are a little firmer than his tummy but I could see a child with an arm around his back and the legs and tummy pressed against a chest. I wrote a book "Max the Cruising Cat" and was looking for a Siamese kitty to go along with the book. This cat has the sweetest facial expression of the three I bought.

This is going to be for a toddle. Most of the reviews say soft and cuddly, but I was wondering do the leg move around at all?

They legs won't move unless you force them too. But they'll return to the pose as pictured.
