5 Star Product, 1 Star Pump
This oil is a great product that has given our coarse haired German Shepherd a noticeably softer and shinier coat. The smell is on the milder side for a fish oil but it is not odorless. My dogs love the taste and they’ve had zero gas or other negative side effects. My biggest problem with this oil is the pump. I have bought this product multiple times and had the same issue every time so I know it’s not a one off. 80% of the time you get a partial pump, which leaves you with no idea how much you’ve actually given your dog. It makes zero difference how you hold the pump, you get a weak gurgle no matter what.Highly recommend the oil but be prepared to be irritated by the pump.

My favorite brand. My favorite additive.
HUGE fan of Plato products...As are my dogs. I was excited to see salmon oil offered from a trusted brand. Great stuff. I mix it in with their food as a daily regiment for skin and coat benefits as their breed tend to have allergies and skin issues.I am very happy with the product, my dogs love it and I will continue to use Plato from here out!

I have tried other salmon oil products for my two border collies but always come back to this. Their coats and unbelievably soft and shiny (and we get so many compliments about their coats when they have this product with their food) and it is definitely a high quality product and I know it is doing good things for their bodies. They gobble up their food when this is on it and do not have any digestion issues. Would definitely recommend this product.

The Best Salmon Oil Supplement I've Found
We use this daily for both of our big, Northern (read: high shed) breed dogs. It seems to have especially helped our Husky-Shepherd mix's coat, making it silkier and, I'd say, noticeably cut down on her shedding. Sadly, nothing seems to make much difference for our Great Pyrenees mix, who seems to leave a puppy's worth of white fur per day on our furniture and (unfortunately dark) stone floor.Still, I don't think this hurts anything in the least and though we've tried several brands and methods of getting salmon oil into their diets, Plato has become our preferred brand not only because it's reasonably priced AND offered via Subscribe and Save (which is awesome when you go through 1-1/2 bottles/month), but also because it's wild caught, doesn't need to be refrigerated and I've found the pump dispenser keeps everything clean and makes this amongst the easiest of the brands I've tried to use. And though there's a definite fish smell, it doesn't overwhelm in the bowl, OR on their breath. Both dogs love the taste and even if the shedding hasn't improved dramatically on our Pyr, I still feel like there's enough benefits to keep using this product for both dogs long term. We do five squirts per dog, morning and night, on top of their food. Only takes a second.

My ferrets love this stuff!!
Everytime I feed my ferrets, they're expecting a couple of squirts of this on their food! I mix it in their food with my hands and they go to town on my fingers! Lol It makes their coats shiny and soft. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is bc the bottle leaks, if stored on its side. Highly recommend!

Plato Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil
This oil is fantastic for my beautiful middle-aged Black Lab. He was having skin problems, and was shedding everywhere. Labs are a handful to take care of (allergies), but my lab is the BEST, so I don't mind. So, to help with his allergies, I feed him FreshPet Select (GREAT food for dogs with allergies, although quite expensive), along with frozen green beans, and/or broccoli that I cook of course, organic coconut oil (1 Tablespoon per day), and supplemented his diet with Plato Wild Salmon Oil (4 squirts per day), 400 mg. of vitamin e- every other day , a multi vitamin, over-the-counter allergy medication (either Benadryl or Claritin), and his coat is BEAUTIFUL. No more scratching, no hotspots, shedding was cut in half, and even though he's 9 years old, he acts like a pup, and has great stamina.

Dry skin
I bought this for my pup to help with his dry skin. Can't say I technically can seena difference but the Vet said his skin looks good. I will continue to use to ensure it stays that way. Will say his coat is shiny. Only downside is the smell. His breath is horrid after he eats. Lol

Dog loves it
My ten year old dog has a slow growing cancer. His holistic vet recommended fish oil, among other things. I found this one, and we are finishing his first bottle. I can't tell if this has contributed to his good health as we made several changes at the same time. He is doing well. The tumor is growing so slowly that it will probably not bother him for his remaining life. What I can say is that we are giving him a number of pills with his kibble, and I squirt this on the pills in his dish. He thinks the pills are great and never spits them out so I guess he likes the oil. He gobbles his meal even when I haven't added the raw meat that the vet also recommended.
