Top-Notch Instrument Cable!
The Cable exceeded all my expectations. This 20-foot premium plus instrument cable is an absolute gem. The olive green tweed woven jacket not only looks fantastic but also adds a layer of durability that I truly appreciate. The straight to right angle 1/4-inch plug design is incredibly versatile and fits perfectly into my setup. I've noticed a significant improvement in sound quality compared to my previous cables crystal clear, with no unwanted noise or interference. The build quality is solid, and the connectors are robust, ensuring a secure connection every time. What really stands out is the attention to detail in the construction. The cable feels premium, yet it's flexible enough to manage on stage without getting tangled. Itโs evident that a lot of thought went into designing this cable for both aesthetics and functionality. Overall, this instrument cable has become an essential part of my gear. Whether you're a professional musician or an enthusiastic hobbyist, this cable is a must-have. Highly recommended!

Great cable. Low noise, clear sound. Great price!
I compared 5 new cables, all 10 feet long, each having one straight and one right angle tip. For me, I prefer a right angle to plug into my guitar and straight to plug into amps and for guitar to pedal. I would prefer straight end if plugging into a typical strat jack, but most of my guitars plug in at the side, including the one used in this test. I prefer Right-Right for pedal to pedal, and I prefer straight-straight for pedal to amp or other outputs at the end of my pedal chain. The cost for each was: A: $11.99, B: $15.60 C: $16.36, D: $19.61 E: $61 I wish I had included a better price range of cables - they seem to be clumped at the Economy end, with one very expensive cable as an outlier, but this is what I have. It would be nice to have something in the $30 range, but at least I have the high end one to compare. I used the same guitar, exactly the same settings. I ran directly into a high-end audio interface, and into a DAW. I compared silence (no strumming, no string movement) on the 3 pickups - then I strummed a single chord on each pickup. (I used my Fender EOB, so got single coil, humbucker and โnoiselessโ pickups, in the same guitar - I didnโt use in-between - mixed pickup settings, only the single pickup settings 1, 3, 5). I listened and compared each cord, and I compared spectrograms of each to look at the waveforms to see what they showed. Results from the test found some differences in sound and noise levels, mainly giving a slight bit of โsizzleโ at very high gain levels, but none were exceptionally different, to be honest. I will note below any noticeable differences for this cable. They all sounded good and none were unacceptable. I was surprised that there wasnโt more noise or more difference in sound quality. Sound quality differed in adding a slight muddying of sound, or maybe having more or less clarity. I didnโt try to create extraneous noise or additional interference from other electronics etc. so I canโt speak on rejecting this type of interference. Overall, considering noise and sound quality, I found the following ranking from best to worst: E=B, A, D= C this does not account for price, warranty, interference or noise rejection (which I didnโt test) or quality of the buildโฆ these factors seem to be what youโre paying for with the $60 high end cables. These didnโt really show up in this test. This was B, above, the second least expensive. Honestly, it sounded as good as the most expensive. Chords were clear, not muddy, and it sounded great at all settings. It had very little sizzle noise - as much noise as A, and less than C& D, but slightly more noise than E (the $60 cord). While this cord is a basic cord and doesnโt have any โfrillsโ , it is a solid choice and if treated well (mainly in how it is coiled up in between uses) it should last as long as others in its price class. Overall, this is a great sounding cord, well worth the money.

Great guitar cable
My new favorite cable. Low to no noise noticed. Size is perfect for me: seems durable and portable enough with the hook and loop strap. Will buy more.

Excellent cords!
I've been meaning to write this for a long time. But these cords are excellent. I have bought 8 of them and use them in my home studio and at gigs and they have been flawless. I had broken the plastic sheath somehow on one of them, and called customer service and they took care of it right away. Customer Service is fantastic. I'll continue to buy and recommend all of Kirlin's products as they provide great value and more importantly perform as well as any cords, I've ever had including the "top of the line" cords. Nice to find a company that makes a great product and backs it up! Thank you!

Great cables, especially for the price! Just get a bit tangled sometimes
I've been using these cables as my main cables for a few years now. I'm just a home hobbyist and don't gig, so I can't comment on their durability on the road, but at home they work perfectly. The braiding is very high quality, and the ends are very durable and the metal coverings above the plugs don't easily unscrew like I have had happen on even some name brand cables. They are a good thickness and sufficiently flexible, and they have held up well for at home use. My only complaint is that they do get a bit tangled sometimes, especially if they are rolled up for a while. It's not too hard to untangle them, but one thing that I think would help is that I wish they offered these in a 5ft option instead of just 10ft and 20ft. Being a home player, I am always right next to my amp, so even 10ft is excessively long for my use. Another very small complaint is that the "purple" color is more of a pink than a purple. Purple is my favorite color, and I actually prefer the royal blue cables more than the "purple" cable. The royal blue, while up close you can see it is made up of blue and red threads, from a distance and in the right light, they blend together and the cable looks pretty close to a darker purple, so that is my favorite of the Kirlin colors. Considering these are some of the cheapest cables I have found, they are an amazing value with high quality braiding and plugs. Despite the small issue with getting tangled sometimes, I would still recommend these to the majority of guitarists with how great of a value they are. If you are a home hobbyist like me, I think you should have zero problems with these, and even if you gig frequently, I would still give these a try and see if they hold up at gigs for you before spending money on pricier cables. I love the quality and the colors of Kirlin cables and expect to always have one handy.

Product is very good, quiet, and sturdy..!!!!
Product is so far great. They are quiet, made well, and seem sturdy. Side Note: I have tried different brands over the years. Back in the early 90's I purchased 3 Dimarzio cables. That had the black covering and straight ends with a sewn on Dimarzio logo with cable straps. These cables lasted 30 years. I also tried Fender Custom cables. These were also quiet, but always crapped out within a year of light to medium use. Yes both of these brands are life time warranted. I have not tried to put in a claim on the Dimarzios. I did put in two claims two years in a row with Fender which they replaced the cable with no issues. Problem is you can't count on their cables. You won't even get static noise from their cables. They will work one day and the next, dead nothing. I have to hand it to Dimarzio for making a great product. The one thing I noticed by using these Kirlin cables was a very noticeable "treble" boost in tone. Maybe being that my other cables were so old and probably oxidized I was getting a warmer tone. But, Im happy with these cables so far. I run either a Fender Strat or Gibson into a home built pedal board with "mogami" connectors and 9 pedals ( cry baby, fuzz, distortion, phaser, delay, and shadow sprang thang into a 59 Bassman. No noise, not a sound. All of us have jammed with the friend that has a $7,000 guitar and a $2.00 cable that squeaks, distorts, fuzzes out, etc. Yes I recommend these cables.

Get ir!
Kirlin cables are the best kept secret out there. You can't find them in music stores or any of the usual online retailers, which might explain why you don't hear them mentioned along with the well-known premium brands. The price is fantastic, the cable is well built with quality connectors and look great. These cables are the only ones that don't coil up on me (the handy attached velcro wrap really helps keep them properly stored), including my tweed-jacketed Whirlwind Leader, which I have retired after 25 years and hundreds of gigs. It's still working, but I no longer need 25 feet of cable in my old age and prefer to stand pretty much in the same place, which with my Kirlin is now no more than 10 feet from my pedal board. I have four of these - guitar to pedal board, board out to amp and effects loop send and return. I'm particular about my tone and use boutique or modded mass-produced pedals along with multiple buffers to compensate for capacitance. These cables sound great to me and I get amazing tone from my rig, so if any of it's getting lost in the Kirlins, I can't tell, and I've been at this for 30 years. These are my go-to cables from now on, and I plan on replacing the few patch cables on my board that aren't George L's with some Kirlin cables.

Outstanding quality and value
I purchased this to get an order to the magic thirty-five dollar mark for free shipping. For the price I had no real expectations and figured that I would use this as a spare. It turns out that this is far superior to Planet Waves instrument cable I had been using and almost on par with the much more expensive Monster Cable Classic 1/4 Inch Angled to Straight Instrument Cable that I switched to for reliability. There is one drawback to this cable and I will get it out of the way first: if you are performing on sidewalks and similar rough surfaces the woven jacket will quickly become frayed if you are constantly moving and dragging it. I learned that lesson the hard way with a similarly designed microphone cable. I recommend this for studio and stage use only. This is a heavy cable that appears to be crafted from the best materials. It's quiet and reliable, and the ends mate perfectly with my keyboard. Also, the cloth colored jacket is not to give a cool, retro vibe, but has a valid electrical purpose. Most cables use PVC for the jacket and the dielectric properties will cause some signal distortion. Frankly it's hard to beat this cable. I will continue to use my Monster cables, but any replacement cables going forward will be this brand and model.

That's really good cable. Very good and high quality plugs. It is my third cable from kirlin. Previously I have bought fender de lux cables but I didn't liked the quality.
