Cuts well in end grain. Used to make juice groove in end grain cutting board.

Be advised
This tool will put a half inch grove in a piece of wood, but be advised. You will NEED A ROUTER. This would not make a good birthday present for your wife. You'd be better off getting her a pound of your favorite beef jerky. Take my word on this.

Very, very short shafts unsafe in plunger router
These bits have the shortest shanks and will not work well in a Dewalt plunge router. Very poor design as they are too short to cut effectively. Buy Whiteside much longer which we have used for years.
