I love how this clock looks! It has a very contemporary look, being black and silver. The glass clock face is beautiful and larger than I imagined it would be. It is a fairly heavy clock which surprised me! I like the old world touch of the swinging pendulum. I'm extremely happy with this clock, it is the first Howard Miller clock I have purchased. One note is that the batteries were a bit hard to install. Easy if you have small hands (but I do not) and the lower battery for the pendulum seemed especially hard to install - but nothing major and after a few minutes I figured it out and got it installed. Looks GREAT on the wall.

After reading many reviews from different sites, I knew pretty much what to expect. Other reviewers had complained about the materials used in the clock. These reviewers must not be very familiar with Howard Miller and the cost. Yes, the entire clock is not made from glass and steel, only select components. However, the design is clean and contemporary exactly the "urban" look I wanted for our condo. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because the battery installation was somewhat difficult to reach, and when I inadvertantly installed one battery in the wrong direction, it was quite difficult to remove and change to the proper way. 5 stars for style (I got over the materials easily) and 4 for the batteries.

This Howard Miller wall clock is very attractive and seemed to meet our expectations as it keeps good time....BUT the pendelum fails to keep swinging for more than 3 to 5 minutes after a fresh new battery is inserted into the clock's compartment. This only draws attention to the fact this clock, while looking handsome, is actually made of very cheap lightweight plastic parts and is truly not worth the price paid for it.... NOT RECOMMENDED.

Cheap plastic, took an hour to get the batteries in, the the pendulum didn't swing! Seriously overpriced! Avoid this one!

I love clocks and would have as many as walls in my house but my husband keeps me in line. LOL! That said, this is a beautiful clock and so easy to read at a glance. I love to look at it.

This clock is beautiful. Keeps perfect time too.

Contemporary and sleek looking. The only con is the thin brushed silver face on the pendulum was pulled away from the base. We tried to use double face tape to hold in place but it does not last. Was concerned glue would leave a ripple affect. I would like a replacement pendulum.
