False Alarm

I saw them on TV in June and bought this album, and love it. The music is full and enveloping. Some of the first tracks remind me of Level 42 classic rhythms with modern threads. Then others a bit more like, say Wolfgang / Foals . Because of this I album, I bought the two TDCC albums, but prefer this one by a mile.

Great return by Alex Trimble and the boys. Synth pop like their 2016 album gameshow but far more consistent. Not a duff track. Thoroughly recommended.

Das Album ist gut produziert leider lassen sich die Lieder nicht in mit dem gewohnten Stil mitsingen, was aber nicht der Qualität geschuldet ist. Ich vermute persönlich das die Band sich in der Phase der Weiterentwicklung befindet und derzeit nicht genau weiß in welche Richtung die Reise geht. Dafür gibt es mehr als faire 4 Sterne ;)
