Very thick cushion
Very high quality; should last forever! I'm in my 60's and have a moderate balance problem. Don't need cane and haven't fallen, but my balance challenges me all the time. That said, this mat challenges me some also. For me, I think it will actually help strengthen my legs. For someone with a serious balance problem, I wouldn't get it because they could be too unstable.
