It says japan quartz in one place and swiss quartz in another place. which is true?

I depends on the particular run. If you find it on sale for a VERY discounted price, think japan.

Bought two invicta 0764 and no warranty certificate came in the box now what?

To be honest I don't usually register my watches. But you should be able to go to Invicta website and register the watch

How can I change the date on this watch?

Pull the stem out (it is a click single stem) turn the stem all the way to the correct day (you must turn it all the way twice for AM then to PM to have to date set correctly. Then take a pen or stylus and push the button above the stem till you get to the correct date. If you do it correctly the date will change at midnight.
