Will this clean off white residue that has built up inside the hot tub?

Yes it will. That is most likely calcium deposits. Just lower the water below that level. Apply it full strength and let sit 10 min. Then wipe and rinse. It won't hurt the pH either.

Do I have to drain the tub in order to clean it ?

It is better to drain the tub first. However if you are just cleaning the water ring and such with little amounts of cleaner and not doing the whole tub, you can doing that. We recommend draining and rinsing.

What is the ratio to dilute when cleaning the filter in a bucket? Another answer from the manufacturer stated it’s on the bottle, but it is not.

Hi there, I apologize for the confusion. Please dilute at a rate of 8oz per gallon of water. To dilute, please mix at least 3 cups of hot water with 8oz of cleaner, mix well, and then add to the bucket.
