I brought this to replace using melatonin at times when I’ve thrown off my rhythm staying up late on a long holiday weekend or getting caught up binging a show on Netflix. I can only handle taking one at a time. The one time I took two I felt too relaxed. It was like I was in this in between state of sleepiness or feeling extremely still. It’s hard to describe lol but overall, I think it works well just make sure that you hydrate when you take it. I find that I feel more thirsty. I also recommend taking it about an hour before bed once you’ve had a chance to wind down and do all of your bed prep. I find that the times that I took it too close to bed time it took longer to kick in, so I stayed up later. Or the times that I took it, but hadn’t done my bedtime routine. I feel like I woke up out of it with too many tasks that required my attention and focus. So it’s not like melatonin where it puts you to sleep, it just makes you feel relaxed for sleep. So if you’re not already in a state or have done everything to prepare for sleep, it can seem like it doesn’t work (I hope that makes sense).
