PlanToys® Pretend Play Wooden Cooking Utensils Set Montessori Kids Kitchen

I realize that you can get more for less but that's really not what is most important for us. We look for quality products that are fun to play with and will last the test of time while being safe. The two utensils are so cute and nicer then some of the ones I have in my kitchen. The lid fits the large pot and fry pan. We are loving Plan Toys and can't complain about any of their products. They're small enough to fit on some small burners in play kitchens which is nice because they store well too when you don't have a lot of space. Great product, well built, not too heavy yet not flimsy. Wish I could give these products more stars.

I consider toys by Plan Toys as high quality, aesthetically pleasing, extremely durable,... and high price. This toy only has the high price in common with what I am used to from Plan Toys. The pots are ugly, very flimsy, and got dented within minutes of giving them to my kids. The metal has the stability of a coke can -- the formerly round pots are now egg shaped and won't sit flat on the "cook top" anymore -- and the wooden lids have now become useless too. IKEA carries a much more cute, much more sturdy line of cooking, baking, and serving utensils at a MUCH better value. I really hope this will be my only disappointing purchase from Plan Toys.

This is a cute, basic set for our son's playkitchen. I like that it came with a lid that fits 2/3 pots and that it came with two wooden utensils. These seem like very sturdy pieces that will last awhile.

I am a huge fan of Plan Toys so this purchase seemed like a no-brainer. I wish I had paid closer attention to the reviews...we have had this set ONE day and it is already dented from very light use. Also, the image made me think the set was a natural metal color (i.e. Calphalon). In reality, the exterior is a horrible brass color which is just AWFUL! The interior metal color would have been much better... or a black exterior finish would have been gorgeous. The wood details are wonderful... I just wish it was higher grade metal and a better color. Hate to return my daughter's birthday gift. Please, Plan Toys, improve this product!!!

He is too young to pretend to cook yet, but he loves them as percussion instruments. They are the perfect size for him to play with and the wooden pieces are sanded very smooth so no splinters. The little pots and pans seem to be as well made as real pots and pans so we have no worries that they will fall apart. All in all, a really good buy!

These are on the small side and the metal is very thin and easily dented. However, this means that when my child smacks me with the frying pan it doesn't hurt. They have stood up to lots of banging, energetic stirring and other abuse and, while a little dented, are otherwise totally fine (handles firmly attached, spoon and fork looking great). A great quality product that I would recommend for any young chef. For the record, my daughter is 21 months old and we've had these for the past 4 months.

My lilttle 2 year old great grandson just loved his present. He cooks on his new stove everyday, and the procuct is so sturdy and safe, unlike their plastic cousins. Thank you for making such a great product. Renee

They bent so quick and and can easily be folded in half by a toddler. Wouldn’t waste the money. They are very cute but not sturdy.

Lovely set of "cooking pots and pans that complimented the girls new indoor kitchen. Nicely made and safe for small children to use.

Not worth the price. The metal is so flimsy everything was dented up and junky looking in no time. Better off buying a completely wooden set.
