I have spent a great deal of time researching dog supplements because I feed my dog a carefully prepared home-cooked diet rather than kibble. My dog is a senior who was recently diagnosed with lymphoma, and this decision came from wanting to give him the cleanest, most supportive nutrition possible in hopes of maintaining his strength, comfort, and quality of life — and, hopefully, adding more good days to our time together. When feeding home-cooked meals, proper supplementation matters. I found that many products labeled “multivitamin” were actually treats, enzyme blends, or omega supplements that did not provide the essential vitamins and trace minerals required to balance a fresh diet. I am extremely impressed with this RX essentials vitamin supplement for dogs. I have a 15-year-old American bully who has pancreatitis and must be on a strict low fat diet. Within 24 hours of starting her on (half the dose) of this supplement it shaved 10 years off her life. I got home from work the day after I started this supplement and she comes running down the hallway to greet me. Usually I have to wake her up but she is so full of energy and vitality now. Even her mood is better. She's acting like a puppy again!!!! I don't know what you put in this supplement but it's having amazing results on my angel. You guys have to try this supplement. Also my angel is a very very very picky eater and she eats her ground turkey with the supplement on it no problem. I think they know what's good for them. This is my go to supplement for the rest of my life for my dogs.

I just started my 2 Dachshunds on this stuff, they get fresh food (Turkey burger, rice with peas and carrots), I mixed in a scoop as directed and they licked the bowls clean so it obviously doesn’t have a bad taste to it. So far loving this product, making sure they get all their vitamins.

I've bought this 2 times not through Amazon but from a veterinarian that sells this and other products. She said this is the one to help with balancing your golden retriever's raw, meals as I was trying to but went to Ziwipeak air dried and since was much more convenient I must've bought at least over $3,000 of that so far. But I bought RX ESSENTIALS, because I have racks of lambs and liver, and added kale, hempseed oil, grinded pumpkin seeds, but I felt despite the 1 hour in front of Safeway and added RX ESSENTIALS and she liked her meal, I was happy. And it's not at all expensive, actually cheap and formulated by Dr Robert silver dvm. And it doesn't taste junk like many powders as I always taste it, and had confidence that she'd eat that hard work of minds. It's possible that w/o the RX Essentials, just maybe she might have been reluctant...? HAPPY! She's so very important to me! Brandy 2, AKC registered Golden Retriever already 8 years old! And another 10 more, thing is, I don't know if I have that long, thanks as God knows how important we are to each other..m..

My dog's Vet has me using this for our dog to improve the dog's vitamin and mineral content. It's definitely improved the dog's overall well-being. I don't recall specifically how it's improved my dog's health because we introduced this in addition to a ton of other changes at the same time. Plus that was a few years ago, as well. But just knowing that he has this mineral supplement in with the rest of his meal, I know that my dog is getting a good healthy balance of vitamins and minerals in his diet. And I know it's going to improve his overall health moving forward.

When I ordered this- it says available for return till April 18th- my dog will not eat his meals with these supplement added- I went to return and received a message that it was no available for return- so something is amiss here-- I will take this up with Amazon- the product has a very strong odor-no sneaking it in on my boy- as long as don't add this to his food he eats just fine- I do not recommend this product-

Several years ago, when I began making food for my dog at home to avoid all the toxic products now found in commercial dog foods, my veterinarian recommended I augment the diet with this supplement. My dog has been enthusiastically using this powder, added once per day to his food, for 5 years now. He has had exactly two visits to the vet since then that were not just routine checkups and vaccination visits. He's healthy, happy, and vigorous. Previously, I had to get these supplements from my vet, at quite an expense. Recently, however, I found the same product available on Amazon, at a much more user-friendly cost. If you make your dog's food, and are interested in providing good all-round nutrition for your furry friend, I highly recommend this supplement.

I always use RX Vitamins brand for my dogs. They are best!

Sprinkle on the pet food.

This product is not a homogenous mixture and will not be no matter how much you mix it. If you are using a really large quantity then it may be okay. However, if you have a small dog and want to use only a small amount, you will likely not get a balanced blend of nutrients and this could lead to over doses of A and D vitamins as well as copper toxicity. About the taste, one of my dogs tolerates the taste, the other refuses to eat his food with this in it.

Good product, but can be purchased from a vet at the same price this seller used to charge - approximately $60.00. Also, size of the container is wasteful as product fills half the size of the containers.
