do you know who originally did the make up for this look?

Unfortunately, I do not know the origin of that image.

Can you use regular make-up or does it have to be something special. The appliance is so pale in color. I want to put some makeup on it

I hand painted the prosthetic with acrylic paint to get it closer to my original skin tone and used makeup to blend it over the adhesive used to apply it. In the end it color wasn't a perfect match because my skin gets redder over time, but I think it looked pretty swell.

What kind of make-up do you use to cover the nose so it matches your skin

We used the nose in a production of Shrek and covered it with commercial liquid makeup. Used a couple of light coats and it held up pretty well.
