Fabulous fan had same one for years bought again as amazing very powerful looks great airflow is incredible fits together easy and a very reliable fan was so pleased to get the same one it has 3 speed settings all powerful it it’s oscillation is great it tilts and adjustable height 100% recommend and great seller and price too

We bought this fan as our old one had died and fallen to pieces. This was one of the cheapest, but made by Daewoo, so what could go wrong. Answer, absolutely nothing. It’s a great fan, easy to assemble, plug it in and switch on then sit back and enjoy the cool air wafting over you as the head oscillates. The fan is fully adjustable in height, and the head of the fan is also adjustable, in that it can tip up or down or be fixed. The oscillating head of the fan mode can also be switched off. The fan has 3 speed settings and an on/off button on the control panel. Some assembly of the fan and guard cage is required, but this is fully explained in the instruction booklet and is very easy. It’s a one person job. Great fan. Has saved us on more than one occasion so far this spring/early summer from the oppressive heat in the evening. Truly a fantastic buy.

There are about 10-12 pieces to put together, so this does take some assembly. The four legs for the base simply slot into the circular ring, so you can not pick this up and move the fan, or the legs will fall off. The safety grill clips in place with a screw at the top. The screw is very small and needs a millimetre spanner to tighten the nut, which is not provided. A workaround is to use an electrical tie, the type that holds wires together. Put it through the hole at the top and twist it together. Generally, the fan is quiet with a little noise at the highest setting. It cools our lounge/dining room quite well, but it's only 25 degrees at the moment. Reasonable for the price, but if you intend to move it around the house, the legs are a problem.

The assembly was quite straightforward and simple. The fan has been functioning quite well and is good value for money.

Delivery very fast, the noise level of fan is pretty good, cool airflow good also but item looks like it was reconditioned and sold as new, one bag was blue plastic, rest standard white the electric cord had been retied unevenly, box was previously opened and retaped, the top aluminium pole had a dent as if someone had tried to dismantle it, one of the bottom legs was very slightly bent and unit overall is a bit small (only reaches chair height) and flimsy plastic and very light metal. I had a fan unit like this from lidl which was cheaper than this one and lasted for 8 years this unit will not even touch its 2 year warranty I think I will be lucky for it to last through summer. Also the locking system goes left and not right, the frame closes with the tiniest screw and fastening and the plastic around the electric cable is pretty light, that would be my main concern leaving on the unit on a hot summer day. I dont want to just complain because the unit works ok but for having paid more for this than a generic one I would have expected basic sturdiness and new product not second hand and less quality.

As the title of this review says; the fan arrived and was easy to assemble however, 1 of the 4 screws at the base of the fan was tightened to a depth that bent the steel strut and made it impossible to loosen. The other 3 screws were fine and loose and I am an Engineer so please don’t think this is user error. The fan works well when on and is easy to assemble (apart from what I’ve stated!) but the base was unsteady and I have to position it in a specific way to ensure that it doesn’t bend and fall. Also, the slowest setting (the 3rd) was not working from the start and still isn’t working. Very disappointing, pay a bit more and get something more sturdy and reliable is my advice
