Silly me took this at night time and couldn’t sleep, only to realise it has also green tea not only l-theanine, so had to buy a different one however this does calm your anxiety abit during the day whilst getting your green tea extract benefits too.

I have been using L-Theanine for around 8 months now. I first tried 200mg and found that though there was a difference, it wasn’t enough. I moved on to 250mg and felt the same way. After this there seemed only to be 400mg, which seemed like too much. But then I found Focus Supplements had made a 300mg supplement, and after taking it I found that this is the perfect dosage. I have been using this particular brand of L Theanine for 2-3 months and I couldn’t be happier. They are tasteless, relatively easy to swallow, and a good price. But most of all they help... a lot. I take just one pill each morning and have found that my anxiety levels severely reduce for the rest of the day. No problems with sleep either, which is a bonus for me. I am very happy with these pills and don’t see the need to try any others given the changes I have experienced. It’s nice to be able to go outside once again without crippling feelings of anxiety.

Good quality and results, it does calm me down through the day but a bit expensive to maintain, I've changed to similar and cheaper.

I was dubious of the claimed health benefits of L-Theanine before purchasing it, but I must admit that after a week of using this product that I feel more focussed, rested and am sleeping better than ever before. L-Theanine is a substance found in high quality, shaded green tea leaves. If you are lucky and have deep enough pockets to be drinking plenty of this, you will note that the sensation of alertness you enjoy from cups of green tea is actually pretty similar to what you will get from a single 300mg pill of L-Theanine. I drank a lot of green tea whilst living in Japan, so I could relate to this and so was happy to discover this supplement in the UK. Another important benefit of L-Theanine, is that this alertness does not go on until the evening (I am taking my pill in the morning with a cup of coffee), and in fact I am feeling very tired at night and sleeping very quickly and well. This is a big plus for me. It would have been useful to have a product leaflet inside the L-Theanine box, though I found all the information I needed about it on the company's website at FocusSupplements.co.uk. I recommend this product and will be purchasing it again.

The picture enclosed is from an old L-theanine product by this company that was marketed with purity in mind. A good product. No fillers, bulking agents etc. The company has since retracted this on their packaging and decided to follow the really deplorable practice of adding nonsense ingredients to the formulation so that the customers get less for their money. The old product was just L-theanine and it worked. Now it's 40% L-theanine from green tea extract and you need twice as many pills to get the same effect. I'm not even going to get into what the additives are doing to people's health.

I've used another brand of L Theanine before but bought this as no filters and good value. A shame that when I went to remove the inner seal it wasn't attached on part of the top. The imprint from the top of the container on the seal was offset and that's why I think it hadn't sealed all the way round. There is a warning on the bottle which says not to use if not sealed properly, which makes me think there has been a problem in the past with sealing. The general finish of the bottle wasn't great and the writing while on the bottle itself was easy to read, on the outer box the pale font was difficult to read near the top where the background was paler. That was the area where it tells you how to use it, so a darker background giving more contrast would help. There are no facilities to return easily under these circumstances ☹️

I've read so much about the benefits of L Theanine, the wonder ingredient that's supposed to help reduce stress, aid relaxation and promote healthy sleep. And I've always taken it with a pinch of salt - I mean how can something found in tea leaves really do all that? Well, I've been taking these 300mg tablets for five weeks now, to give them a fair chance to work. As 300mg seems a fairly high dosage, I wanted to be sure there were no unwanted side effects before sharing my thoughts. And I have to say that right from the off they've been brilliant at clearing my brain fog, mitigating my stress levels, and helping me get a better night’s sleep. The end of term, coupled with starting a new job right at the beginning of the school summer holidays, would normally have me Velcro-ed to the ceiling but… I've been so chilled that even my husband has remarked on it! They're tasteless, odourless, easy to swallow, and they work. As another reviewer has noted, provided the manufacturer keeps to the same quality in future batches, I’ll certainly be re-ordering once my three months’ supply has run out. Definitely recommended.

So, I've had sleep issues for a while. Over the last few years I have really struggled to get to sleep. I have tried lots of different sleep supplements, but they don't really do much for me. I have zopiclone prescribed, which does really work, but I only take it sporadically because obviously it's very addictive and you don't want to rely on that stuff. I was looking up what zopiclone does, and essentially it increases GABA. In my research, I saw that L Theanine is supposed to do the same thing. So I ordered these. I noticed the difference after a couple of nights and it really has worked for me. Definitely worth trying if you're having issues. Good luck!

Schon morgens, wenn ich meinen Kaffee trinke, merke ich einen deutlichen Unterschied. Mit L-Theanin vertrage ich den Kaffee viel besser. Als jemand, der mit psychischen Erkrankungen, insbesondere Angststörungen und Panikattacken, zu kämpfen hat, ist dieses Produkt für mich ein echtes Wundermittel. Der Preis ist sogar gesenkt worden, was natürlich ein zusätzlicher Bonus ist. Ich kann die Marke FS L-Theanin wirklich sehr empfehlen. Dieses Produkt hat mich noch nie im Stich gelassen und ich bin dankbar, dass ich es gefunden habe. Insgesamt bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt und werde es definitiv weiterhin bestellen. Es ist ein großartiges Produkt zu einem fairen Preis und die positiven Auswirkungen auf mein Wohlbefinden sind unbezahlbar.

Che dire.. Appena arrivata. Oggi pomeriggio presa prima dell'allenamento insieme al mio solo preworkout contenente 300 mg di caffeina... Eeeh...booom!! Spettacolo ragazzi! Che mood! Carico a pallettoni ma di energia positiva! Ho passato quasi tutto il workout a ballare con la mia compagna nemmeno fossi in discoteca! Normalmente mi sembra di essere di cattivo umore dopo aver preso dosi alte di caffeina, ma oggi pomeriggio umore alle stelle e nessun effetto negativo della caffeina, anzi sensazioni positive! Speriamo che mi faccia lo stesso effetto anche le prossime volte perché ci metto la firma! Sicuramente il prodotto è di buona qualità per avere questo effetto quasi immediato!
