Good for what you pay
i brought one of these for my audio technica 2020USB+, and so far its working as intended. The shock absorber was a bit weird, as i had to squeeze the mic into the actual holder as there was no way to open the shock absorber other than stretch it with fingers untill the mic went in, then let go and it hold the mic tight and no chance of falling out (this is my first time using this kind of thing, so take this review with a grain of salt as i may be wrong in some aspects and it may be due to my own wrong setup). The microphone stand itself feels sturdy unlike some others here, the arm is strong and once tightened does not fall. My only negative is the "clip" thing that holds the stand is a little less sturdy than the rest, but after tightening to the point i think my desk has small amounts of damage now, it is completely fine. Would recommend for first time users or those looking for a cheap solution

once set up it's fine..
I had to make a modification to keep the boom from falling out of the housing I had to add a screws No big deal really .. I guess it came with a small screw and when I opened the packet the screw fell out.. Also the round plate on the clamp can fall off so be mindful of that.. but once secure it'a fine.. Overall I'm happy with it and does what I needed.. I still recommend the mic stand..

Lets be honest this is what it is
It's cheap and cheerful but it does what it says on the tin and it works well at holding my Snowball Ice mic in the right position. The fittings are of typically low quality; you wouldn't want to do any of them up particularly tightly for risk of stripping the threads which does lend itself to some floppiness overall, but with some tweaking it works and for the money that's all you can expect of this.It comes with some mounts for other mic types, and a diffuser. Overall I'd say its good value.

I should have sent these back.
Don’t buy this product if you’re using a high quality heavy microphone. It didn’t handle it.I had to use it for an event. It wasn’t very good and will now probably bin them. Low build quality. Nowhere near as sturdy as you need and vibrates with the slightest movement. I should have researched more.I’ve tried to use it but feel I am stuck with them.Still looking. Big mistake.

Makes my daughter's studio looks professional.
TIP: no tools are neededTIP: position pop filter in front of mic.TIP: use the anti-vibration mic holder if your mic fits.TIP: turn mic upside down.I bought this mic bracket for my daughter's studio. She thinks she is going to be a video star. Bless. It's simple to setup as it's comes delivered complete. You just need to attach it to your desk or a shelf using the clamp. Choose your desired mic holder twist on.Once attached to your desk the arm can be easily maneuvered to where you want it.The arm is made of a light metal with metal springs, the mic holder is composite plastic. My daughter loves her new mic arm and I think it makes her feel like a super star, so I'm very happy. If you found my review useful please consider giving me a helpful vote and perhaps a follow for future reviews. Many thanks.

Almost perfect, but for £15...
A little bit cheap when it comes to the hinges and articulation - the pop filter bracket doesn't tighten up enough which causes the pop filter to fall down and the included shock mount doesn't allow for decently sized mics to fit without removing some of the elastic bracing. Can't fault the rest of it though - really, really strong steel construction. If you've got a £300 microphone and it weighs half a ton... don't buy a £15 arm, I suppose? But really, for £15 compared to £60 for a microphone arm from Rode...I think I can live with it - I highly doubt the Rode would be four times better than this.

Built to a budget but it works
Using this for a home podcast studio. It's for a second presenter so perhaps not to be used as frequently as my current mic stand. Make no mistake, this is cheap and it doesn't feel especially robust. The clamp is working okay and the few extra bits (adapters etc) are useful.Like many such stands, the shock mount doesn't clamp onto the slimmer studio mics you might use so takes seom adaptation. On this one however, the shock mount is all plastic and some of the adjustments rely on plastic threads - they probably won't last long. (from my experience with a slightly more expensive one over a year).
