This 3 piece leveler kit is great on a slope!
I’ve bought this set before and really like it.This 3 piece leveler kit is great on a slope! It’s easy to mount the adjustment bars to your ladder and to slide on the leveling leg. These are a bit pricey but worth every penny.I’ve used other brands and I like these the most because I can count on them. All the others have small flaws or are just not as strong but theses are very reliable and worth the money even though they have increased in price over the last 1-1/2 years.Note: If you want to buy them on Amazon don’t stop scrolling down the screen, for some illogical reason they post them pretty far down the list. In my professional opinion these are the best and safest and should be at the top of the list. Good luck.

A Must Have When Working On Uneven Terrain
I was going to paint the exterior of our two story home, but the terrain around our home is very uneven. Due to the fact that I was going to be working two stories up, I was a little uneasy about using pieces of wood to shim under the ladder leg to level out the ladder. This leveler was the perfect solution. Installing the leveler was easy and it worked fantastic. Adjusting the leveler to the terrain you are working on is very easy and It creates a very stable base for the ladder. I was able to comfortably work on the second story level of our home without worrying about ladder sliding on the uneven terrain. The other thing that is nice about the leveler is the leg extender/leveler is easily removed when you are working on level ground. This item is a must if you are working on uneven terrain and is well worth the money.

Works great as long as you have a significant slope
The leveler will not retract far enough to allow you to use it on an almost level surface requiring you to remove and reinstall the foot constantly. Yes, it is mounted per the instructions. It is just designed poorly with the end user in mind. The unit works well and is very sturdy.

Levelers
They were easy to mount. You do need a drill in case you don't have one, but otherwise were easy to install and worked just like they were supposed to.

Very nice kit, random notes from an average homeowner inside...
Nice little kit. Straight forward instructions written in English-as-a-first-language that covers 4 basic types of Louisville ladders. I was super surprised that the 15yo aluminum Louisville ladder I have was directly covered here and as scary as drilling a perfectly good ladder sounds it was actually really easy installation to do. I cheated the instructions in 2 ways: 1st they say to use a 11/32nd drill bit for drilling the ladder. Buying that from my local hardware store on black Friday resulted in the expected huge waste of time and unexpected Christmas light shopping. The bolts and existing holes in the support bars work fine with a 5/16th drill bit(as in the 11/32nd doesn't fit) so (#2 cheat) having measured the recommend offset on the ladder I just used the supports you adhere to the ladder as a drill guide making sure not to take a ton of material out of those existing holes. For me that ensured there was no chance I was going to drill a hole in the wrong place for the support. FWIW the super glue they give you is super runny. Found that out accidentally dumping half the bottle on the bottom of the first support I installed. Made application to the entire aluminum shim easier I guess. Anyways at the end of the day this is set up and now I have everything I need to precariously dangle 20' above a stairwell to change a lightbulb hopefully only once every 2-3 years or so. w00t.

Solid well built, this is just a re-branded version of the LevelLok leveler
Solid well built, this is just a re-branded version of the LevelLok leveler, purchase whichever happens to be the lower price. I installed this on an old Werner 22ft Aluminum extension ladder. The Quick connects add a little weight to the ladder but not too much in my opinion. The leveling foot itself is pretty heavy and I don't plan on carrying the ladder too far with the foot installed it really upsets the balance of the ladder. The leveling foot adjustment is easy and intuitive to use

Good value, smart design
Would purchase again. Works great where ladder is bulky and maneuvering for vertical placement is limited. I have another set of ladder levelers of a different design where one leg goes up while the other goes down mounted on a smaller extension ladder. It would be difficult to for that design to be manipulated on a heavier ladder. I had some reservations when ordering the Louisville product after owning a different design which I found to be satisfactory. After only using the Louisville one time, it greatly exceeded my expectations for a functional leveler.
