Jebao Jecod DCT Marine Controllable Water Pump (DCT-12000)

This pump is versatile and quiet. I love the Feed button. It shuts down the pump for 10 minutes for feeding, but won't let you forget to turn it back on. Unplugging the pump is the only way to turn it completely off. The only thing that isn't clear is if you can run it outside of the sump. They mention using the sump for cooling. I've been using it for 2 months now with no problems at all.

This is hands down one of the best aquarium pumps I've ever owned. I can't even tell you how much flow this thing has. I have the DCT-12000 model on a 150 gallon tank, pushing 5 feet of head pressure, with two 1" drains, and the highest I will put the pump on is Level 7. It's extremely quiet and very powerful. It almost seems like cheap plastic when you first handle it, but looks are very deceiving. I'm going to buy a 2nd one just to keep as a backup or for mixing large batches of saltwater, but for $122 you can't go wrong!!

So far so good, will update if anything changes. Super easy to install, I'm running it external so once it was primed it started right up. The adjustable flow feature is great, I've never had a pump with it before. Much nicer than trying to use a gate valve to change flow. I will say that I wish there was a shut-off switch beyond the 10 minute "pause" button on the controller, to completely shut the pump you have to unplug it. Price is great as well, didn't break the bank for a good quality.

Lasted 9 months. Seal failure. Needs a new impeller. I consider it a bad deal. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. CHINESE GARBAGE. Silent operation and great until it failed. I replaced an Iwaki which lasted 8 years. I went back to the Iwaki, the same old 8 year use one. Failure is not an option. Short term success is not a long term goal for my Reef tank. Don't waste your money unless replacing it is your goal.

So far this pump is working well for me. I have this pump installed on a Casco pet store aquarium system (like the ones they use at Petco stores). The system has 7 tanks, holding about 90 gallons of water. The tanks have a common sump, where the pump is submerged, that holds another 30 gallons. I am running this pump on about 3/4 of the maximum flow rate, which is very easy to set form the control panel. I use the feed hold daily and the slow start-up feature is easy on the plumbing and keeps my fish from getting blasted when the pump comes back on. The pump I replaced was a Reeflo Swordtail external pump. The Reeflo pump had a bit too much flow for the tank system, and wasn't directly controllable. The tank system's plumbing had a complex set of valves and return lines to help adjust the flow. It was hard to get the right balance of flow to each tank by adjusting all these valves. The Jebao pump's control panel has allowed me to remove the flow control lines and valves, and provides much easier push button flow control. Because it is submerged, the Jebao pump is super quiet. I would even call it silent. So far I am very satisfied with this pump's performance. The only thing that seems to be lacking for this pump is plumbing connection options. Even though the multiple size hose connector works, I would have liked to have the option to adapt this directly to the hard line plumbing of my system, without having to get creative at the hardware store buying parts to make an adapter. Using the included hose adapter in my system has the output sticking out the top of my sump instead of out the side where it belongs. It probably wouldn't be an issue if my sump were deeper, but it is only 13 inches deep. With the inclusion of some additional standard plumbing adapters, I would have rated this pump 5 stars.

Great energy saving pump for outdoors pond. Has a feed, 10 minutes shutoff so skimmer does not suck up food. Will power a small bead filter. Well built

Ok, now I only set this pump up about 1 hour ago, but so far - WOW! Very quiet - basically just a hum. Love the idea that I can select a speed and just hit the button to feed! Comes with an adapter that seems to go from 1 1/2 down to 3/4 inch (don't quote me on that). I hope the pump lasts! The pump connects to a power supply just like a laptop. Plenty of wire length. I'm running a 120 gallon tank at approx 50% on the pump and only about 45 watts! Wow!

I was a bit worried about ordering a pump from a brand I've not heard of but my experience with this pump so far as been great. Note that when I received my pump, I got the DCS model, rather, than the DCT model -- a bit of googling suggests that this is a slightly newer model. This is a brushless DC pump that has a nice electronic control with a convenient feed-mode which stops flow for about ten minutes. The electronic control is also really handy for dialing the power back for smaller tanks.

Tengo 2 semanas con ella y esta funcionando super bien, no hace nada de ruido de hecho pense que no funcionaba hasta que en la cascada comenzó a caer agua. Solo falta ver que dure mínimo un par de años.
