Could have been good
This is one of the stupidist made video's I have ever seen. It could have been a very good dvd, with many of good tips and advise, and actually showing the makeup techniques close up so you could really tell what the makeup artist was doing. However who ever produced it, truly ruined it by making it so hard to move on to another model after you saw the first look the artist done up. It is in various languages and it does not automatically move so you can get the next model. It either puts you on another model in another language or it keeps repeating the same model in English. To get to another model being made up you have to mess so much it actually is disgusting and you can spend 5 to 10 minutes trying to find a new one so by the time you get to one you don't even want to watch it. I would love to be able to tell who's bright Idea it was to set the video up like they did that they ruined what could have been a very good video, (full of great advise and with a very good makeupu artist) well a least the 3 of the 14 models I watched was, before getting so disgusted with trying to get to a new model, that I just gave up and have not seen the other 11 models makeover.

I got this for my lady ...
I got this for my lady ... personally I kind of like a little make-up on her ... but she did not really get it right a lot of times. Now she does the nude look and other tricks ... anyway, looks good on her.I recommend it .... from my second hand point of view.

Very Useful
I really enjoyed this DVD. The looks and techniques are relatively simple and easy to follow. The voice-over provides full details of what is being done. I'm assuming the English version I was listening to was a translation of the original, and some of the descriptions were a little "retro", but that only added to the experience. Well worth a look, particularly if you are a beginner looking for clear, concise directions. Packaging is in Dutch, but has an English translation option.

Fahrstuhlmusik und unpräzises Schminken
Es fehlen die allgemeinen Angaben zu Gesichtsformen, Augenformen, Nasenformen, Lippenformen.Mir fehlt wie ich gekonnt betone oder verstecke.Ich bin entsetzt, wie unpräzise geschminkt wird.Das Auftragen der Foundation ist noch sauber, aber wie schlecht er den Lidschatten hinkriegt (Verläufe und Gleichmäßigkeit) hat mich entsetzt. In meinen Augen sieht es bei den Nahaufnahmen überhaupt nicht gut aus, ich würde so nicht aus dem Haus gehen. Auch Rouge hat hier die Tendenz fleckig zu wirken.Die Fahrstuhlmusik im Hintergrund nervt.Es gibt nur einen Pluspunkt: Die einzelnen Passagen sind schnell erklärt und vorbei.Allerdings sind die ersten Sätze ziemlich identisch.Die DVD hat kein wirkliches Menü und man muss die Miniaturgesichter anklicken und sich überraschen lassen.Es gibt keine Angaben zum "Künstler"...Ich habe den Kauf sehr bereut.

An vielen unterschiedlichen Frauentypen, werden verschiedene make-ups präsentiert. Die make-up Stile reichen dabei vom 'konservativem' Tages make-up bis zum 'ausgeflippten' Ausgeh make-up. Ich finds schön gemacht. Wenn man aber schon einige Erfahrung mit dem schminken hat, lernt man nicht unbedingt etwas neues dazu. Die DVD dient eher als Inspiration mal was neues auszuprobieren.

Super, aber man sollte schon Grundkenntnisse haben. Das Wissen ist auf jeden Fall DIE GRUNDLAGE fuer jede, die sich erfolgreich in Szene setzen will.Gebe gerne die Empfehlung weiter
