The Gangster Film Reader is a very good source for researching purposes or simply for anyone interested in gangster films.

Absolutely confusing
the book is written like a graded paper, it's so difficult to read. every other line is a citation or reference to another movie its hard to keep up.

Low star rating for publisher, not author, due to Kindle limitation against loaning the book.
The publisher has not made this e-book loan-able. Generally speaking I find that unacceptable and will consistently down-rate books when the publishers make that decision.

wonderful
This book was so informative and very easy to read! As a movie lover, this book was absolutely amazing in the stories that it told! It's a must read for any gangster movie fan!

The quality of layout, design and bookcraft could be better, but the contents are simply great for anyone interested in gangster film as a genre
