Worth it!
I've always had problems with acne on my back. I've tried wearing only cotton (because it "breathes" better than synthetic fabrics); I've tried changing my eating habits; I've tried several cleansing products such as Neutrogena salicylic acid treatment for in-shower use. I had yet to find something to really clear things up, and was getting really frustrated. My very light, sensitive skin is now becoming dotted with scars from previous spots as well as new spots cropping up every few days. I hate the way it looks and it affects what I wear, because I feel so self-conscious of my skin on my upper and even lower back. Recently, I became desperate for a fix to this problem, as I will be in two weddings this summer and both bridesmaids dresses show a lot of the back. I'd seen Glytone advertised before, but it seemed pricey to me. At this point, I was desperate and just wanted to find something - anything to help- and thought, what the heck - it's worth a try! I've been using it 2X a day for 4 days and WOW -- major changes already. The blemishes I had are healing/drying up quickly and for the first time in years I don't notice any new spots forming. This is huge. I have never had this kind of success with a product for non-facial acne. I was skeptical about the "upside-down" spray function and whether it would really work. It definitely does. It's easy and quick and really does work. I've been using probably more often than I should just to get things cleared up quickly, and then once things clear up, I'll probably use it a couple times a week to maintain it. Used 2-3 times a week, this bottle should last a few months. The ONLY complaint I have is the smell. If I forget to hold my breathe or walk out of the bathroom immediately after using it, the vapors irritate my throat and lungs. To be fair, the directions say to spray it in a well-ventilated area. The smell is slightly off-putting (chemical smell) but goes away as soon as it dries. Overall, these slight unpleasant aspects are definitely worth the results.

So far, so good
I have struggled with back acne since I was 12. It's been embarrassing and demoralizing. As a teenager, I made it my mission to simply cover it up--lots of layers and no backless tops, even when it was 90 degrees out. In my 20s, I finally started seeing a dermatologist, and it took sleeping with a benzoyl peroxide topical antibiotic ointment on my back each night to finally clear the blemishes. This also necessitated me sleeping on a towel, since the peroxide would bleach anything it came in contact with. I'm not kidding when I say this was the only thing that worked. I had tried pretty much every OTC product out there, but it was the anitbiotic that made the difference. Yada, yada, yada, the dream of a clear back ended when my insurance changed and I was forced to pay for the medication out of pocket--$200-$400 every two months. Well, that was not financially feasible, so I was back to looking at OTC products. I did not have much confidence that this stuff would work, because I've had little success with salicylic acid in the past, but this product my just have the right conbination. So far, I've been using it twice a day, in addition to using Panoxyl 10% scrub once a day. It's a little drying, and I will probably back it down to once a day once I get a better handle on the blemishes. I'm about a week and a half in, and the multitude of marks on my back that had accumulated over the last few months have subsided. They're in various stages of healing. But the best news is that I have had no new breakouts so far! My skin feels smooth, and I can feel that the inflammation has subsided. I feel like I'm inching closer to once again wearing tank tops, and just in time for the summer heat. The only downsides to this product is that is can be drying, it burns upon application and can cause some redness, and the fumes when you spray it can be intense. I'm more than willing to overlook all of that if it keeps working! I'll post a follow-up with any changes.

I (USED TO) Love this Stinky Spray!!! (new formula, doesn't work)
UPDATE: They have changed the formula. This is not at all the same product as it once was. The strong smell is mostly gone but so with it went the active ingredients that made this a powerhouse. I'm so disappointed. I hate when companies do this, ruin a perfectly good product... The clear bottle is the old formula, the opaque/white bottle is the changed formula. The new formula doesn't work at all, it's now waste of money. I don't recommend. __________________________ LOVE THIS STUFF!! I have pretty much always suffered from back acne, kept long hair to cover my back, felt self-conscious in backless or low back things.. This spray cleared my skin (after the old acne scars faded) I feel great wearing backless anything, aside from the occasional breakout. I wish I would have found this 20 years ago!. The Only issue is that the smell is STRONG!! Like make you gag/ throw-up strong. My trick is this: after the shower/dry off. Go into another room, hold my breath and spray then go quickly into a different room to breathe again, ha! AND that little inconvenience is ABSOLUTELY TOTALLY worth it for the freedom of having a clear, spot free back. * I never, ever would have worn the dress in the picture with hair UP, no less, before this spray.

Glytone saved me
Ive had problems with back acne since the seventh grade and now im going into junior year. My acne was always on the top of my back like near my shoulders. It was pretty mild acne and anything i used would never work and i would never see improvement. Ive been to so many dermatologist to only have my mom fish out money for products that never worked. I found glytone on amazon in like Feburary or March and read the reviews and i thought why not give it a try. So we ordered it. It took about a week to ship. My chest started breaking out for some reason about two weeks prior and when I got glytone within that week, within a week or two my chest completely cleared, but it dried out my chest so I would use just lotion from the dollar store and it was fine. I used it twice a day (morning and night) and within a week i saw very little improvement on my back but I still continued to use it. Now its July and my back is practically clear. I have acne scars but thats about it. For the past two months I havent really used the product faithfully, sometimes i wont use it for a week. But even with not using it faithfully I am so happy with my back now. I feel okay with actually wearing a bathing suit without a t-shirt and actually wear a racer back tank top. My back has improved definitely 90% maybe even 95% from where it started. It is kind of pricey but it so worth the money. I get the biggest bottle and with usuing it faithfully it lasts about a good month and half or two months for me.

This stuff really works
Wow, I am truly impressed. I've had trouble with my back for the last four years. I tried over the counter remedies, went to my regular doctor for perscriptions and even saw a dermatologist. I tried all different kinds of lotions (which my partner had to apply, yuck) and even changed my eating habits. Nothing worked for me, until I came across this spray. I saw a noticable difference within 3 days, it was amazing! The smell is a little off putting, it kind of burns if you breathe it in while applying, but for me that's a small price to pay. I just hold my breath for a few seconds. The smell dissipates very quickly. I have been using the Glytone spray for 2 weeks now and my back has completely cleared up. It is easy to use, sprays upside down as promised and even though I use it twice a day the bottle is still 2/3 full. I'm comfortable wearing a backless dress for my wedding tomorrow, how about that? I am so excited and wish I would have come across this spray years ago. It would have saved me so much agony and frustration. The most effective spray, period.
Absolutely amazing stuff! I've always had problem with acne on my upper back and upper arms. It's embarrassing to say the least. I eat well, exercise and drink plenty of water yet I still had to deal with acne on my back. This stuff works. It makes anything OTC at the store look like a joke. You can expect to see results in a few days and for me fully clear within a couple of weeks. My wife also suffers from acne on her chest which has since completely cleared up since using Glytone's spray. Be sure not to skip! It's easy to do because it starts working quickly so you sort of let the acne issue become an afterthought, make sure to finish your treatment until the acne is completely gone. After my acne clear I usually keep a bottle around to tackle random spots coupled with a sugar scrub to keep it permanently at bay.

Bacne is still here
Not really sure it this was worthwhile or not. I brought it because I had bacne and I thought it might help. I had bacne for a good 2 decades now with some acne spilling into my chest area. I thought it was high time to stop it. So I would use it religiously every day after my shower. I had read some reviews in which people had used it twice a day, but I have sensitive skin and I commonly battle eczema between season changes. I had really hoped that it would work and continued using it up until the point my skin became so patchy and flakey that that it was unbearable to function throughout the day without scratching at it. I currently have about 1/8th of the bottle left. My bacne is still here, I'm sad to report. My routine with the back spray went as follows: I would hold my breath and spray in the general area of my back, use a cotten pad to rub the lotion on the my skin as well as possible. Walk to another corner of the room as I continue holding my breath as the fumes cleared. Gagged as I finally took a breath of air when my lungs were about to give up. Wait until my back air dry. And done. Towards the end, I had to add an extra step of putting lotion on afterwards as my skin was overally dry. I noticed that the acne shrink a bit in terms of size, but it didn't disappear or resolve on its own like with the ones on my face when I used a acne spot treatment. The acne also came back in full force when I stopped using. Right now I'm back to my usual strategy of drinking lots of fluids and trying to get enough sleep to let my body fight its own battle (not an easy thing as a college student maxing out on credit hours in addition to work). I will continue to keep an eye out for other methods to try out.
