Starbucks by Nespresso Original Line Blonde Roast Espresso 50-count Espresso Pods

My favorite taste of coffee pods, good price, too. Small nespresso original cups, compatible with my Nespresso machine. Medium strength.

These fit my Nespresso Essenza Mini without any problems and brewed just fine. I liked these because they have a smoother, lighter flavor than darker espresso pods, but they still taste like real coffee and not watered down. They are easy to drink, balanced, and especially good with a little milk or half and half. If you usually find darker pods a little too bold or bitter, these are a nice change. The packaging was good and the best by date was also pretty far out, which was nice to see. Overall, these are good pods if you want something smooth, mellow, and easy to enjoy.

This is a great buy for a strong, lightly roasted, but flavorful cup of espresso. I have looked at Target, Kroger and Walmart for a better price. No one comes even close to Amazon. It’s the best price by far if you buy the 5 packs of 10 capsules for $28.50. That’s only $5.70 a box. Just a note for those interested… it’s not organic, but it’s a great cup of coffee.

These pods fit in our Nespresso pixie machine - have a low intensity number and delivers delicious espresso

Overall, I think this is a great value. It fits our Nespresso original machine perfectly. It comes out not too bitter and is incredibly mild with a decent crema. I do not think it has a lot of caffeine since I need a few to keep me awake. I would recommend this for someone who wants something more mild.

I do love this product. I buy it for my Nespresso Vertuo my Nespresso original and I buy it ground for when we make a pot of coffee it truly is my favorite coffee. The flavor is there. It’s consistent and it’s fresh. I received this damaged and if you know anything about Nespresso machines, you can’t put a damaged pod in your machine or it gets stuck in there and then you’ve got all kinds of issues so I was disappointed in the shipping

Update: I love the coffee and this is by far the cheapest place to get them. I am changing my rating from 2 stars for poor shipping to 5 stars for the actual pods. I contemplated how to force Amazon to ship it better and came up with a plan - buy more than will fit in a mailer to make them use a box and make sure you don't order anything heavy that they can put in the box with them. To be safe, I didn't order anything else that week to make sure my pods came alone. It worked! For the first time in 3 shipments we did not have a single crushed pod and now we have enough pods to last a few months. We ordered 3 of the 50 packs (total of 150 pods) and that was perfect. Dates were all good and none expire in less than 10 months. Update: we gave them a second chance and another set of pods came crushed (even worse than the first ones). I don’t understand why they can’t figure out how to put these in sleeves that don’t crush or ship them in a hard side package. We will no longer be buying them from Amazon because I’m tired of throwing away pods. The last pic with the completely crushed pod in the center was our newest batch. That one will have to be thrown away and some of the other ones are questionable as to whether they will work. Takes away from the cost-effectiveness of buying them through Amazon if you have to throw away almost a whole sleeve. very disappointed. This is our third or fourth order of these pods and we’ve had a few that were slightly damaged but usable. This is the first sleeve out of this new box and seven out of 10 pods are essentially unusable. If you’re not familiar with an nespresso machine - the pods have a rubber seal that goes around the edge to make a seal and then water is forced through the pod and if the rims cannot connect with that seal you lose a lot of the coffee into the collection chamber in the bottom instead of going into your cup. They essentially don’t work when they look like this. There’s a no refund and no return policy so I will be contacting Amazon independently to see what they will do about this because it’s completely unacceptable.
