POWERTEC 3" Fence Flip Stop for Table Saw, Miter Saw, and Drill Press, T Track Accessories for Woodworking, 1PK (71367)

I built a crosscut sled for my jobsite table saw to help dial in more accurate cuts. I used Powertec t-track on the top of my fence and this fence flip stop is perfect for making repeatable cuts. The flip stop flips down to slide the board over and then back up before making the cut to avoid your piece getting pinched against the blade. It easily tightens down and loosens. It also glides nicely in the t-track. It’s exactly what I was expecting

I returned this because it didn't fit the Powertec mini crosscut sled, but this stop will work with their regular t-track and is well built. I would buy it again for another project.

I purchased these knowing beforehand that they DO NOT fit the Kreg router table T-track system. As you can see in the first picture, the T-bolt is about 1/16” too wide. I remedied this easily by simply sanding down the edges about 1/32” on my belt sander. It took me all of just a couple minutes and then they slid in perfectly. For $12 a set, that’s worth the small effort to make them work.

Installed on a DIY table saw sled with t-track. Works fine. If zero deflection is a concern for you, this isn't the solution. If you're careful when pushing your work piece against it, and don't slam the piece against the stop, it works fine. Well made with quality parts. Working great on my saw. I drilled and tapped some holes to support a magnifier to work with a tape measure. The material was solid and accepted the tap very well.

Works as described

High quality flip stop made of aluminum with nice anodized blue finish. Not flimsy and will not deflect in use. I reccomend !

I attached this to my crosscut sled and it works perfectly. You can adjust the flip stop to be as loose or tight as you like when raising or lowering it. Once you tighten the knob the entire mechanism is completely inert, so there will be zero variation when using it as a jig for accurate repeated cuts. It fits the Powertec t track perfectly and slides smoothly. I have no complaints, and no recommendations to improve the design.

The machining on this stop is really good and built sturdy. I especially like the anodized blue that this and many of my shop tools have like my t-tracks from Powertec, router depth gages, and various rulers. It fits all t-tracks. When too much force is applied, it will deflect a degree or too but if not abused, should give accurate results. I added an adhesive ruler to my fence for added convenience.

Excellent purchase in all respects. Quick, simple and very functional. Very happy.

Quality product with accurate description. I build my saw sled before this unit arrived, based on the dimensions provided in the description. (Risky!) However, it fit perfectly. Solid and well made unit!
