I purchased this helmet and just got it delivered. I tried it on and at first I thought it was going to be too small, but to my dismay, it fit perfect with a lot of space. The front cushion was comfortable, but there was no top cushion or any padding in the top and rear of helmet. I normally ride with a bandana to keep the bugs and bees from tickling my bald head. The helmet with bandana fit with room to spare and it solved the no padding in the top and rear of the helmet. I’ll probably add my own cushion for the top of the helmet. I think I lost weight and my head shrank…lol. Happy buyer.Ps I bought this helmet on clearance from seller on Amazon. Arrived in excellent condition with original box.

This is an excellent but not perfect helmet, maybe 4.5/5.1. Padding is mediocre. Lots of contact points without a pad. You’d expect more investment in actual comfort. However you can improve this with a cheap helmet padding kit (search here on Amazon). You can also wear an old-school cycling cap.2. Straps are average. Like helmet interior comfort, lack of investment and design here in these contact points.3. Not mips.Also seller Movatik sold me a 2019 model helmet (April 2021 purchase). I expected 2020 or 2021 model year.Update: Ultimately happy with the helmet (especially following a crash) I bought a second helmet. This is still an expensive helmet but it doesn’t bother me in terms of padding etc as the first one did.Just about the color: The silver is slick with a BMW like paint job. My new one “SHRIMP ORANGE” is badly named and pictured. This is fluorescent highway orange. Extremely high viz. The brightest, highest visibility “orange” you can imagine. It even has a subtle sparkle. It has nothing to do with shrimp (which tend to be pinkish right?) It is so bright that some might look at this as a safety nerd level of orange, but it is a cool paint job at the same time. Personally I will feel better about stealth black kit on the road when topped with this. Also good for gravel in game lands.Update 2: Still happy with these helmets with frequent use, a couple years on.Hot tip: Beware of counterfeits.

Fast shipping and excellent seller

I had originally ordered this item as a large but they shipped a medium. When I open the Box and notice this error I was really upset, ( I absolutely hate sending things back)! I went ahead and tried it on and low and behold it fit perfectly. So the error by the seller turned out to be for the better! To add to that thus is the most comfortable helmet I've worn in my 35 years of cycling! Absolutely love it!

Tested my new Abus GC helmet today. The main road trail we bike on has strong cross / headwinds. I definitely felt the aero gain with the Abus GC over that of my other helmets. Fits great and doesn’t give that wind dragging mushroom look. This is a solid road bike aero helmet. I’m definitely satisfied.

I will keep this succinct. If you have sort of oval long head shape, these helmets fit superb. Most helmets I’ve purchased have been more round in shape. The fit and feel of this helmet was way better than expected. I was concerned about the venting, and even that has been better than expected. Sleek look and lightweight make this a great fitting and feeling helmet. Yes it doesn’t have one of those techie suspension systems. So, just know that before you buy it.

Nice and light, air flow is more than adequate for me.Shipped / sold to me as "new" but manufacture sticker says produced Oct 2019.Emailed seller last week asking them if this was an issue - how long before you should replace a helmet just because of age. No response as of this writing - almost a week. Fwiw, I contacted Manufacturer through their website the same day. Asking basically the same question. No response as of this writing.I have been purchasing through Amazon for many years, maybe as long as they have been in business.To my recollection, this the first review I have done.Again, happy with the helmet. This review is about the tremendous communication skills displayed by the sell and manufacturer.Do better.

I wear the s-works prevail vent, the newest model. Great helmet but I was looking for something more aero. The GC is perfect, and the aero is noticeable. You can definitely notice less drag, especially swapping back and forth from the GC to the vent. Fit is the same, I am a small in the vent and the small in the GC fits great. Over all great helmet, comfortable to wear everyday with noticeable gains in aero.
