CAMILLA D'ERRICO POSTCARDS Paperback – February 25, 2015

I bought these because several people on my postcard pen pal list requested unusual and singular images. These postcards fit that bill. One shows a girl eating a mouse while surrounded by cats. Another shows a girl covered with ants. This sounds creepy but the images have an innocent and sweet quality to them. All of the cards feature a big eyed girl, usually with an animal(s): snake, cat, rat, crocodile, bear, butterfly etc. There are a couple of partial nudes. Some of the cards are quite colorful. Some are black and white. These postcards are slightly smaller than 4" X 6". The paper is a bit thin for postcards so I would mail them in an envelope. I am not quite sure I like them but they are striking and different. I am giving them four stars because they will certainly start up a conversation when I show them around. Definitely not the usual postcard subject material.

These postcards are so ridiculously gorgeous! They are of good card stock, there are a variety of bright and bold images of girls posing with various animals in color and also brilliantly executed black and white pieces where the attention to detail is jaw-dropping. There is some top nudity of the female form in a few of these so if you are thinking these would make a great gift for a younger girl or boy, I'd advise against it unless their parents are liberal and progressive art-wise. However, if you appreciate the beauty of d'Errico's talents and plan on sending or giving these to someone of like mind, then they are perfect! Honestly, I bought these to mail out to my friends and for postcrossing, but I might have to buy a second set because they are just so aesthetically pleasing to me that I may just frame a few and hang them in my art room. I highly recommend.

I thought that these were in a tear-away booklet form, and they are not--these are individual postcards in a small and cute slide-out box; therefore making them even more eye-appealing.What I love most about Camilla d'Errico's art is how lush and innocent yet provacative it is. I hope that she plans on releasing another set of these in the future with new material, because I would definitely purchase it.I plan on displaying these as art on my bedroom walls--get a couple of 4 slot 4x6 picture frames and rotating the postcards out to keep my decor fresh and lovely.One caveat, as noted in the previous customer review--there is artistic nudity, so these aren't for children.

So visually stunning you don't want to send them! I had some killer little wooden frames & decided to frame a few and add them to my gallery wall of favorites. I get SO MANY COMPLIMENTS! Such a great price as well. SUCH AN ARTIST!!!

I got this item used and it was in PERFECT condition!The cards are really colorful and standard postcard size.I've framed them, collage style, and hung them up in my room.As a big Camilla D'errico fan, I definitely thought this was worth the money and recommend the purchase.

Beautiful cards that are frame-worthy! They were a gift for a friend and she adored them. The packaging is gorgeous, too.

Pretty, delicate and just generally lovely, these postcards are great if you like d'Errico's work but don't want her images to be confined just to her books, you can frame them or send them to dear friends who you think will appreciate her work as well, the box they come in is lovely as well.

Fast delivery, well packaged. Great illustrations, printed well on nice thick card. Love it.

This is a lovely selection of 30 different images. Being postcards they are not huge, but are of good quality.

I got this for a friend who is a very big fan of Camilla d'Errico's works the quality and I am very pleased with the product. The postcards are of a nice quality, not overly shiny which suits the art style.
