This watch band is great! I bought my Casio Pathfinder PAG40-3V about 10 years ago, and it's been great. Over time, the band started to pit, and has gotten discolored with ground-in dirt. A few weeks ago, I noticed the band was starting to break where I usually fasten it. This band got a lot of good reviews, so I gave it a shot. Glad I did! I was ready for a battle, but because I have a screwdriver set with very small bits, I had no trouble getting the screws off. The new band was on the watch in a few minutes, and I've been happily wearing it for a few days now. I was surprised that the new band was several millimeters shorter than the old one -- most likely due to stretching through the years. I forgot that the band had markings on it, as they had all gotten worn off. Now it looks like I have a new watch! Well, the band part, anyway.

Watch band is good BUT no where do they give instructions to change it. I watched a you tube video of a similar model. I blame Casio for making the screw slots so thin unless you have a vice and 2 screw drivers good luck. It was easier to cut the old band off at the screw points, find which end has the screw and unscrew it from there. Other than the trouble of changing it, the band is just like when I bought it.

Purchased this for my dad whose PAG-40 watch band had deteriorated and broke. The band fit perfectly and was easy to install. A couple of notes that might help: 1. The band is held in place by a screw that screws into a pin and not the watch itself. You'll have to use two screwdrivers (one on each side of the band you are removing/installing) to take the screw out and to reinstall. If you unscrew one side, the whole pin pivots, so you'll just rotate it and never get the screw out. 2. The band itself is all plastic, unlike the cloth/pleather combination that came with the watch. This is a good thing. The plastic lining on the original band wears out very quickly and a the threads fray out on the original band. This replacement band is all plastic, of good quality, and completely waterproof. Product shipped and was received promptly. Would order again.

It's perfect. No smell when it's hot out. These bands last a long time under all kinds of rough conditions. Easy to install and a perfect fit for my Casio Pathfinder.

Fits my watch, but I thought it was really over-priced. What you going to do though? Companies now-days aren’t interested in reasonable profits, but the maximum they can squeeze from consumers. This is I no different. The watch band is fine (no metal like the original) and functions well.

My watch is about 15+ years old and I've already replaced the batteries 3 or 4 times. The old band was fine until the dog decided to "taste" it. Anyway, this is an exact replacement. As mentioned, it is a bit difficult doing it alone (you need 3 hands) but I did manage to wedge it agains the arm of the chair with one hand and a screwdriver, and unscrew the other screw with my other hand. The screws were snug but did come out easily. There is one thing you should know. It is shorter so if you use the last hole on your old band, this will not work for you because it's one hole shorter. Otherwise great!
