Nautical Scenes to Paint or Color (Dover Nature Coloring Book)

I really love all the Dot Barlowe's art. This book is about the ocean, beach, and lighthouse. Great theme to color. I really like the perforated pages and the drawings are single sided with faint lines. You can either paint or color in. All of the Dover books are very lovely. I own a lot of adult coloring books, but I own more from Dover and Creative Haven than any of the others. I bought this book because of the lighthouse on the cover.

I use this coloring book patterns on wood with a hand held electric engraver.

I originally gave this book a 5 star because it is a nice book. But then I realized as I was looking for a new page among my plethora of books that there are quite a few stolen images from Creative Haven books. So for that reason I will have to bump my review down. Because stealing art is never ok.

This has one light house page. But, lovely gorgeous nautical scenes. Lots of sail boats. Great paper. This is the second in this series that I have and they are one of my favorites. I have it 3 stars only because there is one light house page. I find they misleading since there’s a light house on the front.

I like this book about Nautical Scenes to paint or color. The lines in it are very light and easy to cover up. I do acrylic painting, and am also into markers and other kinds art media. I would recommend this book to others who enjoy art.

Good scenes, some a little too large for coloring with gel pens. Fine for colored pencils

Very pretty. However, it's really not suited for coloring. Water Colors would work much better.

Great coloring book, not really for kids..we bought it for a handicapped family member who enjoyed it. Great coloring book, not really for kids..we bought this for a older family member who has dementia, (Alzheimers) and they enjoyed it a lot....a nice hobby for someone who might otherwise be physically confined.

Great pictures. I bought it for my elderly parent but the lines were faint so he found it hard to see. Other than that , it is great.

The boat scenes might make you slightly seasick but hold on to your insides long enough to enjoy coloring these wonderful pages. Loved it.
