Maxine Of HollywoodWomen's Romper One Piece Swimsuit

I wanted to cover up because I’m so chunky and this bathing suit did the job beautifully it actually is flattering. It has a good support and it feels very high-quality. It looks like a cute little shorts outfit on, but you can just jump right into the pool with it. It does have pockets which will turn themselves inside out while you’re swimming, but you can easily fix that when you get out of the water. I bought my size but it is a little too big so I think you can size down one size. I will probably end up buying another one in a smaller size very shortly because I did like it that much. Even though mine is too big it still looks cute on and only my daughter could really tell that it was too big when she helped me adjust the straps because it’s well-made and the fabric flows nicely.

For reference, I'm 5'4" 220lb size 18, C cup bra. I typically don't like 18W sizes because they tend to be looser in the butt and hips but was hesitant to try the size 18 vs 18W based on the sizing differences in the chart. I ended up purchasing both sizes and found they both fit securely and snuggly over the breast area so I'm not sure how the reference for the 18W would accommodate a DD cup. I found I preferred the 18W because the outer fabric was drapier and the undersuit was not extra tight around the leg opening as the 18 was a little too snug and pinching.For those stating they don't like how the suit moves around in the water, that is just what happens with this style of suit that has outer fabric like some tankinis and swim dresses, you are still covered by the undersuit.As others have commented, this could easily pass for a summer romper to run errands. I felt 100% confident wearing this, I thought it was flattering and it was very comfortable yet supportive. It's fairly easy to put on and off for using the restroom as well.

It has pockets!!!!Comfortable suit. It doesn't make me feel self conscious. I could wear this out and about if I need to.(Prefer not to.) If I had to, I could just slip a flowy skirt over it and wear it anywhere.I love this suit.

Excuse the dirty mirror…This suit is almost perfect. It’s definitely flattering on a plus size body and also comfy enough to wear in public.I am 5’5” and wish I could shorten the shoulder straps more. There’s not a lot of chest support. Despite sizing down (jean size 22, and I bought this in a 20) I wish I had sized down again because the bra area is pretty loose inside (and I’m a 40DDD/F!). However, because this is so flowy, it hides the sag well.Tempted to try the next size down to see if that helps the chest support, but otherwise I’m pretty happy with it!

I’m surprisingly pleased with this purchase. Wish there were more color options. It’s a nearly perfect swimsuit for me. The design does not pronounce your bulges. It covers and hangs nicely on top and bottom. It has pockets! which along with being useful help the way it covers and hangs on the bottom half. The only flaw is that the pockets are not stitched in a way that keeps them in. They float out when in the water. I’m 4’11”, 170lbs, 40D bust. Size 14 fit perfectly. There is some extra room in the length that pulls up easily to enhance the design but I can see allows it to also fit taller/longer bodies.

Received this order a day before I was going to vacation for a month I assumed when i get back I could return it since I will be out of the country. I just got back to see that they closed my return window.

This by far is the best swimsuit I have ever bought. It’s got pockets at even comfy for wearing around the house comes with the bathing suit underneath it with the bottoms and it’s a romper. One piece amazing. I wear a size 24. It is true size. It’s a little roomy and the underwear part so it’s kind of a little bit loose, but not too loose.

What a comfortable suit! Usually Maxine of Hollywood quality. Modest coverage but in a cute way. Looks like a summer outfit and is soooo comfortable. At least dry. No really heavy and you don’t need to worry about another coverup. Considering the price of a lot of suits these days I think it’s good value for the money. My only complaint and granted this is completely a short person problem, is that the straps feel a little too long and so the front feels like it hangs more than it should and it doesn’t support my chest like I need it too. I’m going to try to shorten the straps to better fit me. Hopefully it works ok wet but honestly I don’t get into the water much anyways!

It is so comfortable. Love the pockets. Doesn’t dry too quick. Very appropriate. I got a size smaller than what the size guide said and it’s a bit big still but not by much.

Swimming

It fits as expected and is very comfortable. I am still a bit self conscious about anything that looks too much like a "granny" swimdress situation, but in the black, it just looks like a cute shorts romper. Overall happy with it. Takes a while to dry, so if you're bringing it on vacation, maybe don't use it as your last day swimwear.....otherwise you're hauling a wet bathing suit home.

Finally! I found something I can wear (very comfortably) whether in the pool or lounging around with a martini. Finally! I think in all my 65 years, I found an item of clothing that I actually feel really good wearing. This little beauty hides everything, and with style. A must have.

Loved the material and style. Just didn’t sit right on me and shorts portion was too baggy.
