US Tape 68901 DuraWheel Measuring wheel DW-PRO 12.5" wheel; Ft/10ths

I use this frequently for work and it hasnt let me down in the over a year of use.

There are other reputable brands that look similar to this model, but they are extremely cheap in comparison. I had dozens of these deployed in the field and so far, I have not had to have maintenance or replace any of them. The cheaper Kesen models look similar, but are extremely cheap in conversion to this unit. Lastly. If you are using this and recently paved hot mix asphalt the analog screen will never fog up like the competing models do.

Had a different wheel that i used for 8 months and thought it was decent till it slowly started coming apart. Decided to bite the bullet and buy this one. If you use a wheel all day everyday like i do? This is the one you want. Accuracy is there. I only have to hit the reset trigger once. It’s light weight but heavy enough to where a gust of wind won’t tip it over (in most cases) I’ve gone through 3 wheels and i can say I’ve found the one. I’ve used this wheel for 4 months now and i haven’t had an issue.

Very good product, my only issue, which is minor, is the reset button on the handle sometimes needs a little harder push or multiple push to reset the counter to zero.

Over the years I’m embarrassed to say how many measuring wheels I have bought. I just kept buying the same ones from Home Depot or Lowe’s. finally I came across this one and it is perfect it cost a little bit more than the cheapo’s that are in the store but it is well worth it. Great quality totally satisfied

I use this every day for my job. I've tried other brands and they broke or just weren't good in the first place. These are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. If you measure for a living, I highly suggest you invest in this wheel.

Its been a year now since I purchased this wheel.I should mention I do a ton of measuring in my line of work as field tech for a fiber optic engineering company.Some weeks can be upwards of 5-6 miles(265-318k')on the wheel. I have gone through 3 counters and will be receiving my 4th in a few days from US Tape. Main reason this is still getting 5* is for the outstanding customer service by US Tape and the wheel itself is very well built and durable. Other than replacing the counter,which is simply removing 4 small phillips screws for the counter and 2 for the belt cover, very pleased with the DW-PRO.

This is the second one of these I have had and they are great. I do contract engineering for AT&T and often go off road and it rolls good through high undergrowth. The thing is so smooth and it will count backwards if you pass your desired location. By the way my previous one was 9 years old before it quit working.
