Looney Labs Chrononauts: Gore Years Expansion - Add Depth to Your Chrononauts Game

This is a great expansion pack! I wish they would offer more! Hopefully in the next few years they can do another one with the more recent 2000s years so we can continue expanding our pack!

Great game with a lot of repeat value. Has a fun conniving element as you try to mess up other player's hands. Takes a while to set up and game play usually runs about an hour.

I love chrononauts, but I play it so often that I needed to mix it up a bit. The gore years expansion flows smoothly with the rest of the game. The new identities are very funny and fit well. I just wish it was a bigger expansion.

Whoops! I wrote the review for this under the "Lost Identities" purchase! Oh Well! I'll review "Lost Identities" here. It's more time-trailers to add to the Chrononauts card game with no expansion to the timeline. New missions are also added. It's fun!

Pros: Extra timeline, more modern events, new identities. Cons: Only 5 new years. The grid used to be 8x4, but now there's a 5-card row. If you're OCD like me, this will annoy you.

This really helps bring the timeline for Chrononauts up to the present. The last 10 years of massive world events was really missing, like a void, from the original game. Probably the best expansion you can get. And cheap.

It's a great addition to the game. The only thing you should be careful with is which identities you put into the game. If you keep it too broad, the later years might have to effect.

I thought that this expansion pack did add to the basic Chrononauts game. Having played it both with and without, however, the difference isn't huge. I bought this product as a gift along with the basic pack and with the extra identities expansion, and I thought that worked out pretty well. For a fairly reasonable price, you can add on to the original game, and it makes a complete package as a gift for a game-player.

Appropriate for all age groups, except for the very youngest, perhaps they may not be old enough to recognise some of the events. It is a game that where you cannot lose interest because of all the variations of the rules.

This expansion does nothing, but to add years closer to home to the Game. The game is absolutely no different with the expansion in play, it's just nice to have newer years, and since the expansion is not expensive, all in all it's a good buy.

Interesting expansion to the Chrononauts universe.
