Several companies make excellent aquatic turtle food, but I prefer Mazuri simply because the pellets are exactly the right size for our guy. Tiger is a disabled male red slider, rescued from our pond (long story), whom I keep in a tank and hand feed. He has trouble with pellets that are too large for him to swallow whole (but which are probably fine for female sliders, who tend to be considerably bigger.) When he was biting off chunks of larger pellets, the inevitable crumbs were helping foul his water and generally causing extra maintenance. I should add that Tiger is an enthusiastic eater who has liked the taste of all the different pellets I tried.

Great stuff! Even for a breeder like myself, I use this for RES, snappers, and exotic species as well. They all do great on it.

This food seems to be the best of the best quality for turtles. It floats and is a good size for almost all ages of turtles. My turtle is healthy and happy.

The pellets are much smaller than I had expected them to be. they're not nearly as porous as most turtle foods I've purchased in the past, and almost feel oily to the touch? but overall they seem to be high quality. They don't smell nearly as bad as other turtle foods I've purchased, and haven't dirtied up the water. My RES seems to be indifferent to the flavor and eats them along with the rest of his food just fine. Bag was smaller than expected, but so was the pellet size.

Turtle seems to love the food.
