Great daypack, aesthetic and useful
I've had this pack for a few weeks now, and it's great for everyday and travel. I tend to over-pack, or end up getting loads of groceries on my way back from work, and this always (amazingly) fits everything! The front pocket was really the selling point for me for a daypack, it's so handy to have. I have very small hands (because I'm female), but I have very few problems getting into the front pocket while the two clasps are closed over the pocket. I have noticed that getting jostled on the subway, if the clasps are not pulled tight, they can come undone--so just something to keep an eye out for. Overall very pleased with this, I can only hope (with the high-quality material and fastenings) that this pack holds up over time because I'm going to be using it a lot!

This bag is exactly what you think it is
I use this backpack daily and couldn't be happier with it. I's big enough to hold my 13 in laptop, cord, and a few books or notepads, but still lays flat on my back, which I prefer. The front pocket isn't anything special, but I just wanted a place to throw some odds and ends and it works great for that. The straps are supportive. I feel like I can walk at least a mile with the weight of a computer and feel just fine. The front claps take a little breaking in, but once you get a rhythm down, they are easy to use and I honestly prefer them to any other closure. Visually this backpack is a stunner. The red is very true to the photo. It's deep and bright and stands out in a fun way. I've had this backpack for about 6 months now and I still get compliments on it all the time. It's well made, water resistant and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a sleek bag to carry around a moderate amount of stuff.

Fantastic bag
Bought this because I was looking for a backpack I could use for daily commuting walking or by bicycle, and it's been great. It is very solidly constructed, perfectly waterproof, and can easily hold my 15" MacBook Pro along with a sweater, water bottle, books, etc. The straps use a very clever hook and loop mechanism that takes some getting used to but seems much more long-lasting than the plastic clips used on other bags. My only warning to others is that it is an incredibly simple construction - there are no internal pockets other than an inner sleeve to hold a laptop and one pocket on the front that is covered by the fold - so if you're someone who likes to keep your stuff well-organized inside your bag, this may not be the bag for you. It can also be a little annoying to access the stuff in the front pocket on the go as well since there's no way to grab it without unhooking at least one of the straps. Still, relatively minor annoyances. I got it in green and it looks pretty snazzy - its much brighter and less "military" in color than you might expect from the pictures.

Great backpack!! But it needs just a few more pockets.
I haven't carried a backpack since I was in high school, and got this because my back was starting to bother me from always carrying a heavy bag on one shoulder. (I now teach, and usually carry a couple of folders, a book or two, a bag of markers, a snack or water bottle, and a thin laptop, all of which fit surprisingly easily in this bag.) The bag itself weighs next to nothing, and the very first day I wore it, I noticed the difference in my posture and how my back felt at the end of the day. I like the special laptop pocket with padding, and between that and the foldover top, I feel my laptop is very secure in here. The straps are comfortable enough that I don't even notice them, without being bulky. The canvas seems rain-resistant but I wouldn't carry it in a serious downpour or wear it biking in the rain. The hook closures seem more secure than magnetic snaps, and the one outside pocket is roomy enough for everything I need. My only wish is that this backpack included two more outside pockets on the sides (for an umbrella and/or water bottle), a loop to clip my keys to, and one pocket or compartment on the inside to organize pens and valuables. I think these could easily be added without junking up the streamlined look of the bag-- which I love.

My new favorite bag
I absolutely love my Fjallraven foldsack. I have the matching color duffel no. 4 and they look awesome together. The main reason I bought this was as a laptop bag. I really worried when I first received the foldsack because I thought there was no way it would fit my 15.6" Dell laptop (the big one with the 10 key pad on the side). Honestly when I first opened the bag I thought it was so tiny, like a kids backpack. I was completely shocked when my Dell fit perfectly in the laptop sleeve in the bag. Lots of other room in the main compartment for my other accessories and whatnot. Also my iPad Air 2 with case first perfectly in the front zippered compartment as well. After packing my gear and wearing it the bag didn't seem small anymore but just the right size. Couldn't be happier with the build quality and size. This is 100% genuine Fjallraven product and came from Outland USA if that helps anyone.

An excellent, simple, and effective field bag.
I work as an archaeologist, and I picked this bag to use a s a field bag for its simplicity of design. I used to carry a North Face daypack but was constantly hassled by the straps, pockets, zippers, and numerous other design features that over-complicated carrying and getting to my stuff. I also found that I was carrying lots of extra weight in things I never needed that I forgot I even had hidden away in obscure internal pockets. I never have such problems with the Fjallraven Foldsack. This bag carries my excavation tool roll, field notes, water bottle and lunch in the main compartment, and a first-aid/survival kit in the zipper pouch. I can roll a cold weather jacket or a rain coat up and keep it tucked under the flap if need be. The fabric has proven to be very durable, and will survive a thrashing through even the thickest, thorniest brush. For my purposes I have found this to be the perfect bag I was looking for.

I have loved it! Sturdy backpack
I researched backpacks for months before making this purchase. I got the burnt orange color and it is quite similar the the color listed. I have loved it! Sturdy backpack, well made, good stitching. Perfect for day trips, biking, carrying my art supplies. It fits my laptop perfect and comfortably. I do wish it had more compartments or pockets, but I purchased a "grid it organizer" to help keep everything from falling loosely to the bottom of the backpack and that solved that problem. This will be a backpack that lasts me a long, long time.

The Perfect Back Pack!
LOVE IT!! It’s something between a backpack and a woman’s bag without compromising the style, it’s really well made, sturdy and spacious! I’m extremely happy!

Love it!
Ridiculous price for a lovely bag. Just what I wanted. It seems compact but I can fit my work laptop, an A4 ring binder and a lever arch as well as pencil case and notebooks, mouse and charging cable. It's much less bulky than bags I've had in the past. I like the easy opening. The straps are easy to open and close and having it as a 'drop in' top makes it quick and functional to use. Sure, you can't fully open it and see everything but you also won't tip everything out onto the floor when searching for something. I've never found it a problem to locate my things and the simple design is lovely - no million useless pockets to go through! Some reviews mentioned issues with the colour fading. I've only been using it two months but it looks good as new and I do get compliments on it. It's much easier to carry than an over shoulder bag. Whether I use on strap or both it isn't a problem. The pocket on the front is quite roomy too and whilst I like the fox logo I'm pleased there's no further logos as it maintains the simple clean design. So, I've never spent this much on a bag BUT I do love it! It looks good, it's functional, it carries well. You'll always pay a fortune for Fjallraven - the bag is great, it's up to you whether it's worth such a lot of money...

Excelente compra! Me encanta!
