Freya Women's Summer Haze Foam Padded Underwire Half Cup Bra Bra

For those of you who are frustrated that every time you find a bra perfect for full-on-top shapes, only to find that it either has already been or is about to be discontinued, I sympathize. This is exactly what happened with my go-to bra, the Freya Marvel in 36FF. They were discontinued years ago and have been increasingly difficult to find, so I have been searching in vain for a replacement. This Freya Summer Haze half-cup is as close as I have found. The fabric is not quite as thin or soft as the Marvel, and the scalloped lace trim adds some bumpiness under silkier fabrics, but as for fit, I got my usual Freya size and it is as close as I have found (and I have tried A LOT of bras). The 3-piece vertical seamed cups are the key, and create a lovely rounded half-grapefruit shape. Those of you with more teardrop shaped boobs, or full-on-bottom (who comprise the vast majority of the population), will probably hate it. Also, if you have not purchased Freya bras before, keep in mind this is in UK sizing, not US, so you will need to size down about 2 cups from your US size. I bought it immediately in 3 colors.

I bought this bra last year and it was my favorite bra until I lost weight and went down a size. It worked great for having average projection and slightly full on top. It does run a whole band size large - size down!!! I was a 30F at the time but needed 28FF in this bra. Same goes for most Freya bras, truth be told.Keep in mind the vertical seams will show through thin t-shirts. It’s worth it if it fits you as well as it used to fit me.

Definitely not padded. It's lightly lined. The seems show through any regular t-shirt. The cups are a little too small.

This is a pretty bra with a nice shape. When I think of "padded" bras I think of middle school dances, but this is just a lightly lined bra. It is medium weight fabric and doesn't hold it's shape like a molded bra does. Unfortunately, I ordered a cup size too large and had to return. The band fits true to size. The color is a little brighter and more coral in person. I would order it again in my correct size.

Freya is usually my go to brand for affordable quality. This one itched so badly it's all I could think about the entire time I wore it. I tried washing it and trimming the edges but ended up throwing it out after the second wearing.

It has a bit of a foam interior, but nothing that I'd consider padded. It's also not molded, so if it's not a good fit it will look lumpy. It met my needs and I like the appearance. It's soft and very comfortable. I do prefer molded cups, but I will keep this one as it's won me over.

Super cute, but the material is scratchy and not super high quality. Just a little better than disposable, so I'll wear it a few times probably, but def not an everyday item.

The seams on the cups are so thick that the bra is very noticeable under a normal shirt...to the point of distracting. It's a nice bra for the price, if you plan to wear it under thick sweaters or layer up.

The bra fits nicely and gives alright support. The straps are stretchy which does diminish the support. The cups do have a bit of a seem but give a nice shape. There is also a little digging of the wire into the arm pit but for the price, you can’t go wrong.

Decollete schön, fällt aber im Körbchen knapp aus.
