Exceedingly effective at it's purpose - Clean look and excellent coloration.
I have occasionally been getting into the habit, recently, writing out reviews for products that I have bought; lately, as i'm sure you are all feeling the same - I have a bit of excess time-to-kill.. haha. I wanted say this is a very comfortable product, that is not irritating to the hand or eye(s). I loved the array of colors, and I've been loving the RBG-related products that are coming out; it certainly blends in well with my Chroma 'Razer': keyboard and mouse. One comment I would make, overall, about this - While this product is certainly superior to others that I have seen or tried, something that I would love to see or be implemented in their next product "upgrade" would be more synchronously adaptive colors; a means of being able to sync it to the computer, or at least keyboard/mouse, so that the colors aren't "off" from one another. I will state that this may be an implementation and I may have received a faulty one(?), possibly, but it definitely didn't come with a driver or anything. Otherwise - this is a solid product, and would definitely say that for the price it is incredibly reasonable quality. I certainly plan to buy more products in the future from this company. Finally, No - I was not "paid" by the company, I was just ecstatic about their product, and saw the "amazon pop-up" for making a review! I hope everyone reading this will give it a shot. If you love more coloration/RBG-lit products.. this is for you. Take care, and happy purchasing! -Zach

My first mousepad like this. It's pretty solid for $20
*Edit: I mentioned in the video that you couldn't change the brightness, however you can. There are two brightness settings, you can change the brightness of any mode by double tapping the button. Here is an initial video review of the 31.5" mousepad. Overall, this feels like a pretty nice mousepad with cool colors for the price. One thing I didn't mention in the video is that any kind of light/white dust or lent shows up very quickly on the mousepad. That was to be expected, but was just something that I hadn't completely thought through before I experienced how hard it was to keep it really clean. Main Pros: Cheap Vibrant Colors Good size Comfortable Texture Main Cons: Only one button to control lights (have to click it 15 times to cycle through all colors) Button is little loud Will be difficult to keep clean (These cons aren't deal breakers by any means, just things that ran through my mind as I first tested this.)

uTechsmart has done it again.
I've been using a uTechsmart mouse for years now. I bought my first Venus about the time they were released. I was blown away by the quality and function of a mouse that cost me under $40. I used that for two years until I found out they rereleased the Venus with a more grippy, textured surface. I wasn't aware my mouse could be better, but to my surprise they improved it by a large margin. Then I saw this mouse pad, and I've never clicked "buy now" so fast. Not only is this thing incredibly economical, buy its for your keyboard AND mouse. For $20. With RGB. The thing is sturdy. Really thick, flexible but not cheap feeling, and it's $20. For your keyboard AND mouse. For $20. You'd be INSANE to pass this thing up for the competitors' products that cost substantially more and offer substantially less. TWENTY FREAKING DOLLARS. I can't believe it. 100% recommended. The RGB functionality is limited, admittedly, but it will cover just about anyone's needs. Has all the popular/basic colors and a few nifty modes for breathing and pulsing. All controlled by tapping the SINGLE button once, and tapping it twice to change between two brightness settings, which I will add, are tuned to be exactly where I think you'd expect. No drivers. No software. The only thing I can say is I think uTechsmart missed out on the chance to utilize their already awesome RGB/programming software for their mouse settings. Seeing the mouse pad be fully integrated with that software would have been one of the most incredible things, but I digress. The mouse pad is incredible. I recommend it to literally anyone looking for a new mouse pad, even if you don't want an RGB mouse pad (you can turn off the RGB) :)
P**.
Surprised for the price.
Honestly, I'm shocked. I'm going to start off by saying: If you are expecting a $50 mousepad for $15, go buy a real expensive one. That being said, This is actually pretty dang nice. The material is very smooth (I prefer that, so if you don't, find another), the edge is threaded, although there are still a few small furs. I just burned them off with a lighter to keep it clean looking. Size: I could have use a tape measure but I didn't, and that's kind of on me. No points taken off here, but it was a lot smaller length wise than I thought. It's still very sizable, but I was hoping it was longer. I like to sit with the keyboard about 4 inches off the left edge of the desk, and like your standard 15" mouse pad. With this against the left side of the desk and the keyboard 4 inches off, I only have about 11" of space. Now, for many this would be plenty, and most probably aren't going to care where exactly it sits, but I do. I use a DPI of just 1000 while gaming on purpose. It's much easier for me to be extremely accurate in FPS. I actually NEED exactly 12", and the extra 3" of my other pad is for comfort. I have moved this pad off the edge of the desk about an inch and have found it to be still functional, but I do wish it was a tad longer. As for RGB, it looks like they used some EL wire with a controller to create an "RGB" effect. Now I'm not expecting fancy here, but again was surprised. The lighting isn't the greatest. The centers of the mat are all even, but the edges are in fact brighter. This isn't surprising, but also I was expecting even less out of a $15 mat. That being said, this isn't hard to make even, so I am going to have to take away from that. Side Note: If you bend the EL wire used for the color, it will actually get bright where any bends are lol. As for thickness and comfort, I was again surprised. It's not too big, and the wire doesn't isn't noticeable against my wrist after an hour of gaming. Overall, if you're really on a budget, and want a cool new gaming pad, get this thing. OH! Side note, I LOVE that the input for this is very small, and off to the side. Some people have complained because they'd like their keyboard and pad cables ran in the same spot, but I actually HATE having a block in the middle of the pad.

Very Pleased, 2 Brightness Modes, Works as advertised and professional/cool boxing
This review is for one week of use. Will update if things change. The item came supper fast even when projected to arrive in May. It came 2 days after ordering. Boxing was undamaged, cool looking and a professional presentation with neat graphics on the box, not plain brown boxed, and gave an instant quality impression. Item was not rolled too tight in the box and the pad laid out flat immediately save for 2-3 very small waves in the front which flattened out in 1-2 days just by laying on the desk. Pros: 1. Single USB power connection to PC that will even stay on after PC shut off if I desire. This maybe more of a PC power setting but I like that the pad allows for that. 2. Single button is very responsive, clicks properly and have had no problems turning off/on or changing modes. All modes work flawlessly and I love the 2 brightness modes. None of the other similar RGB pads had the extra brightness setting and other model reviews complained about brightness in well lit rooms. Not the case on this one plenty, bright in a well lit room right next to a double window that receives sun all day. 3. Color appears uniform with the exception of the dull yellow color which is ugly anyways. There is a brighter color over shine on each side of the control port about 1/4 inch on each side but that's just same color over shine from where the LED is, it's normal for the technology. 4. The Pad itself feels awesome, very smooth, mouse glides overtop very well. 5. Professionally designed/printed box adds nice impression. Not some cheep brown box. 6. Instructions were very simple, easy to follow and provided all the need to know for setup and use. Cons: None to report at this time except beard hair does stick to it really well will require occasional cleaning. Other thoughts: I would Recommend this item and I would order again but would like to see it in a XXL size. The XL size I have is fine and fits perfectly but more is better I and would have ordered the slightly larger one if available.

Certainly a 5 Star Product.. But.....
All things considered this product has met or exceeded my expectations. Its large, comfortable, easy to clean... and the RGB functions on it are bright and nice and easy to change or turn off... Not to mention there are tons of options for colors and patterns.... The only thing I wish was different, and why I said "but" is that being USB powered; which i am using a PC USB port for mine; I do wish this pad along with other UtechSmart products i own were able to be synced and RGB controlled using the software on my PC, ie: asus aura, razer chroma, or other rgb softwares. Understandable that they are more a cost based option and drive the price up more of the product but this as well as other products I own from the company have all been 100% amazing and with really nice RGB colors, however that is still a limitation because certain products I own of other brands can be synced but these ones can only end up close if not different in the end. Not a deal breaker.... function, quality, use, reliability are all 5 stars and an A+ product much like all of their products... just would be nice to see them maybe incorporate that in the future (fingers crossed)

Decent, cheap, hard to pass up.
I was in the market for a new mousepad as my old one was finally retired. I was originally looking for something large, but simple. However, this pad piqued my interest and after using it for a couple of months I can say that it was a worth while purchase. Pros: -Cheap compared to similar products from more recognizable manufacturers -Fits mouse, full size keyboard, and gaming pad -Standard modern mousepad material with excellent grip on the bottom -Decent lighting functions (though not my first reason for purchase) Cons: -Sometimes the lighting flickers when set to various cycle modes -Lighting is uneven in spots Overall, the cons for this thing are minor and not a primary concern for me as RGB wasn't the main reason for the purchase, but rather a "nice to have". The overall fit and finish is also reasonable given the price point. Highly recommend if you're someone looking for a fairly priced mousepad with the added benefit of RGB.

Great for the price-point. Pictures are more vibrant than reality though.
[** Edit] I'm bumping UP my review. I was already on the fence of this being a 4 star instead of a 3 star review. After price shopping around, this really is a reasonably priced gaming pad. I am still unsure if other name-brand products like Razer and Corsair pads actually provide more vibrant light or not, as they appear to use the same technology as specified below in my original review, but for 1/3rd the cost this really is a nice RGB gaming pad. I was also taken by surprise when I was contacted by the company to discuss some of my review points and constructive criticism which were taken to heart, and had a great conversation with their representative to discuss and compare features I was concerned about. It's rare that a company pays attention and cares. I'm adjusting my rating on the following factors, and considering this is - Adding 1 star since I think my original review at 3 stars may have been a little harsh considering the price-point was such an easy barrier to entry. I should have rounded up instead of down on the original review. - Adding 1 star for the very unexpected courtesy checkup from their support. [** Original 3-star Review] I like full length gaming pads, and I'm already tricked out with LEDs, so why not this? Know what you're getting into. - This pad is not an LED strip that goes along the entire edges of the pad. - it is a fiber optic that is sewn onto the edge with what looks like clear fishing line. - the part of the pad that plugs into USB basically has an LED light source on either side that projects through the fiber optic, creating the effect. - The camera/screenshots (especially in the dark) gives the product a more vibrant glow than what you actually see with human eyeballs but it does still look good in low light or dark rooms. PROS: + It does look nice at low light + it looks fantastic in the dark + Single color effects are decent (Whole Pad same color at any given time) + actual mousepad is smooth and feels nice + No software required for lighting effects (Razer, for example, their EULA/TOS basically ask you to agree to keylogging, and their software is required to adjust the lighting effects) + Out of the box it layed out perfectly flat. (I've seen some other products have terrible warping in their customer reviews). CONS: - Light 'bunches up' at corners (where fiber optic is curved, it is brighter) and is less vibrant along the straight lengths of the pad, especially the bottom length towards the right side where it is farthest from either light source. - Because this basically only has 2 LED sources and they're both at the top left of the pad, if you want a rainbow effect on your pad, it won't happen. It will attempt to reproduce that effect by alternating colors on either side, and the color bleed/mixing along the cable will sort of look like a rainbow effect, but it's not really that good. It mostly looks like the top is doing different colors from either side of the light source, and the rest of the pad is kind of "whatever color" the two other colors happen to make... so 3 colors tops at a time and there's no direction or travel effect. - in Regular room lighting the color is kind of bled out and not super vibrant except for certain colors. - if you have a sun-lit room only the strongest of colors can be seen well. - unable to simultaneously sync colors from pad with keyboard/mouse/pc. You can change them to match but no software to integrate with other devices (i prefer to not have the software though, as stated above in the PRO section). For the cost, I'd say this is 3.5 stars, Maybe 4 when compared to other game pads, however, this is my first LED game pad, so I can't stack rank it VS price/performance of other brands.
