This a metal top cover for the 36" Blackstone Griddle. It is well made and provides a "lid" that covers the giddle portion. It fits well and it is made out of a heavy grade "diamond plate" aluminum. The fact that it is made aluminum means it not supper heavy to lift on or off. It comes with two (heay duty) clips mounted on the underside that allows you to hang it on the back edge of the griddle when you are using the griddle. It can act as a bit of a wind guard while you are using the griddle. It comes with a handle of the front that you have to assemble when you first get the cover but it easy to attach. The only minor issue is, while it was reasobly well packaged in styrofoam and heavy cardboard box, two the corners were *slightly* bent (but not enogh to interfere with its operation). The handle is is made of stainless steel and the bolts are also stainless (nice touch) and the cover is is pre-drilled where the handle gets mounted. It comes with two washers (which get mounted on the inside when pushing the bolts trough the cover to mount the handle. I could only ask for two minor improvements: 1) better/stiffer packaging on the corners of the box to prevent damage to while in shipping and 2) the back washers for the handle mount should have been "split" washers to prevent the screws from backing out or losening during long term use. Neither would have warnted returing the item (replacing the supplied washers with split washers easy find and replace or you can just put a drop or two of locktite on the threads). Other than that, the shipping was pretty good (about a week or so) and it is a quality product from a quality reseller. I am pretty sure the packaging is from the orginal manufacture (China) but adding a couple of corner protectors would not add much cost and might avoid some product returns (some other reviwers have had the same complaint about the corners being slighty bent). Overall, very pleased with the product.

First, I was most impressed with how this thing was packaged, great job guys! Then I pull out this beautiful aluminum diamond plate that has the look of steel, but with the light weight of aluminum. Fits perfectly on my 36" Blackstone griddle. It does rest on the rear grease tray when hung off the back of the griddle, but it's light weigh does not effect collection of grease. Oh, and don't misunderstand when I say light weight, this thing is very well built and sturdy, but because it's constructed of aluminum it is light enough yet still sturdy for one hand operation. I am ompletely satisfied with this cover!

I liked the light weight. The edges are very sharp. After putting the top on the correct way it fits well. I'm hoping the wind doesn't blow the lid off hen hanging since it is so light weight. I did see after purchasing a similar top that was $40 cheaper. I guess if We hadnt thrown the packaging away I would have returned it to get the cheaper one. Overall its a decent cover but will see how it holds up over the summer grilling saeson.

This thing came just as described, fits like a glove, looks amazing and does the job that’s needed at a price that cannot be beat! I love the look, for and functionality of it. I have a different brand flat top(Sam’s club) and it fits wonderfully. So excited for this to keep the rain water out.

This griddle cover seems to be a very well made cover. I bought the 28" for my Blackstone and it fit perfectly! Also the handle that came with it is a very nice sturdy handle. I did anticipate there being damage from delivery because it is a larger object and it is made from almuninum which can easily be damaged. I was kind of surprised that the package showed up with no damage to the packaging and the product was packaged very well with styrofoam protecting the product. The only issue that I have found is that the bottom edge is very sharp, like knife sharp in some places and will need to be filed or deburred as not to cut myself when removing the cover or cutting the fabric cover that goes over the top of it. Aside from this issue I would recommend the product and would purchase again.

Received cover sooner than the shipping time indicated. It arrived well packaged and in good condition. The only assembly required was attachment of the front handle. I thought one of the small front handle rubber washer seals was missing so I emailed PHG and received a quick reply apologizing for missing part and informing me that a seal would be sent to me. I received the seal in only 2 days! When I went to install the handle, I discovered that the two original seals had been stuck together, so a seal washer was never missing after all, my error. I was very impressed with the customer service. The cover fits my 28" Blackstone Griddle well, is very functional and looks great too. I do highly recommend it.

Love it had it for a year now fit perfectly on my Cabela's

Bought for our 36" Blackstone, also ordered from Amazon seller. The cover is sturdy but using think diamond plate which does have some bend in the 36" size. Handle is sturdy as well as the hanging hooks. Packaging was OK but I did have a small bend in one corner where UPS apparently dropped it. I did not have all the hardware in the bag but only missing 1 small washer and spacer. I had plenty here to use in their place. The edges are where this could be improved. They are not filed or sanded after cutting so the edges are very rough and could cut the user. I took a orbital sander to mine and smoothed it out in just a few minutes. However, for the price I think the builder could take the minute or 2 to do this to prevent cuts when opening the box and removing the cover. Overall nice build and would do the job covering the blackstone.
