Great little Router very easy to control! And battery powered.

This is the second one I bought! They only take 1/4 inch shank bits, but there are a lot of bits that will fit! Built in LED lights and clear base, so it’s easy to see what you are routing! Fits in both a fixed and an accessory plunge base, and an edge guide is available that works with it (it’s reasonably priced and works fine!) Easy to hold and fits the average size hand well! Easy to adjust depth of cut with the fixed base, and really easy with the plunge base! The 20 volt Batteries last a good long while. The higher the amp designation the longer the battery works for you! My first mine is over three years old and still going strong! Great little router! Highly recommended!!

Ordered this on Friday, delivered on Saturday. Got a chance to use it over the weekend for a small project. Pretty impressed. Packs a punch for such a small router. It doesn't replace the Bosch in my router table but this is perfect for handheld jobs. The micro adjuster works great for tuning the depth quick and easy with great precision. It's light enough to move around the piece easily. The base is comfortable in the hand. The speed and power are both solid and seems like it can do everything my big router does just more comfortable in the hand. This works great because I can keep my Bosch in the table and have this when I need some quick free hand stuff. I haven't done a run time test yet to see how long the batteries last. I think I will need to pick up more 5AH batteries on hand...I know I can get a solid hour cutting with the Jigsaw and a 5AH battery, perhaps I can get the same out of this router. Only giving 4 stars because I would have liked to see them include an edge guide, the kit was pretty bare with just the router, base and wrench. However, for $144, it was a great price compared to other places. Overall, happy with purchase so far...it's build like a tank.

This router is the perfect portable tool. It works on any 20-volt Dewalt battery. With that said for run time I probably would not go under a 4AMP power battery. Noise level is good. If you are working with pine or a soft wood power level 1 or 2 is fine. With harder woods I would us 7.
