This is an awesome book. One of the best purchases I've made in quite some time. This book is very detailed, and anyone who knows how to use tools safely--PLEASE add this book to your reference library.

I am remodeling the interior of my house, and I am a complete novice to carpentry work. This book has numerous photo's with text that illustrates and explains different styles, techniques etc. Also answers all of the how to questions that I had, and has help create many new idea's that I would never thought of on my own. Very easy to read and exceeded my expectations.

This book has great information and beautiful photos of trim work for throughout your home, however as a novice, I was hoping for a step-by-step guide with pictures for each one. I don't regret this purchase, but I will have to keep looking for the right book for me.

Previously bought a different volume on trimwork, but it left a lot to be desired -- bought this book and it was just what I needed. Much better descriptions of tools, how to use tools, and steps to follow in doing trimwork like baseboards, window moldings, etc. Definitely recommend this book to beginners (and to experienced trimwork guys to pass along to their newbie crew members !)

An excellent hands on book for the DIY homeowner or beginning carpenter. It will teach you howto layout trimwork on walls and ceilings in addition to how to make cuts, build up trim, calculatemeasurements and assemble. Clear diagrams, step by step photos and explicit instructions make thiseasy to follow book a must have.

Nice refrences and formula's. I bought as more of an idea book and it has some nice plans and walkthroughs

Good book of styles and descriptions of how to do the work.

This book is good for showing how to do different type of trim, which was helpful. But the pictures of finished projects are about 25 years out of date. The styles and decor (wallpaper included) are no longer popular, so it wasn't very helpful for ideas.
