Had been looking for a pair of these for a long time. Hate the ones you get when you go to beach resorts and really wanted to enjoy snorkeling. While I haven't used it for snorkeling yet. Used it in the pool to get comfortable and they freaking rock. I am negatively Bouyant (yes that's a real term) and I could never just tread water without getting tired quickly. With these I can do it and last longer. Will post an update after I use them in the sea I an sure they will work great. You don't even need to use your arms and can angel your self to have your shoulders above water and literally Jet around. Ha ha

When I first got these I tried them on and was surprised at howcomfortable they were. I didn't have any of that 'rubber biting atthe back of my heel' feel. They fit really well. I'm a size 12, soI got the 11.5 to 13 size.As to performance; for the short time I wore them thay seemed more thanadequate. But, not having worn fins for a long time, my calves werestraining with each kick, so I opted to swim without them more than withthem.I would be perfectly willing to recommend these to anyone consideringthem. For the money I thought they were excellent.

These aren't power fins, but they worked great for the leisurely snorkeling and scuba diving that I did down in Grand Cayman. The foot well flattens nicely so they hardly take up any space at all in the bottom of my suitcase. They are a little too long for my carry on bag but fit nicely in my medium sized checked luggage. I bought a pair of lycra dive socks to wear with these to protect my toes which weren't used to the rubbing. I wear a US size 12D shoe and the X-Large 11.5-13 fit perfectly.

I bought a pair of these for me and my fiance for a trip to the Galapagos. We needed something that would fit into our backpacks (light), but would be really effective for snorkeling. These fit the bill. I got the extra large for my fiance (he's a size 11.5) and a small for myself (size 6.5-7).Pros:LightFlexibleReally flexibleDon't scratch easilyCons:Probably not strong enough for scuba divingThey weren't a PERFECT fitOverall, definitely recommend. Especially if you are needing something that travels well.

I have had very good experience with US Divers' products in the past.I don't know how significant it is that these fins are the first I have owned that fit like shoes rather than by a strap behind the heel. However that may be, the X-Large fins are advertised for mens' sizes 10-13. My size is 12, so I felt safe being right in the middle.Getting these suckers on is an incredible struggle. I cannot believe how hard it is and I regret the purchase. When I finally get them on, they work OK, although they do not have as much power as my previous US Divers' fins. But when I take them off, I have marks showing me my feet have been stressed by the fit.One of my grandsons is size 13. He can barely get his toes in.Beware.

I really liked the flippers and their added length but they kept tearing a lot from the middle out. Making them unusable. I was upset this last because they only lasted a few weeks. I went to a sporting good store because I swim and I do not have the old box anymore, even though I still would like to return them if I could. I have purchased three or four sets of these and the same problem kept on happening. Please let me know what are my options. Thanks.

Very comfortable and easy to slip on in the water. The propulsion in the water with these is excellent, and they are fairly easy to pack.

I used these fins on a week-long diving trip and they were great.Very comfortable--no rubbing or blisters. They're flexible (easier to pack) and powerful. They also held up under tight packing and a lot of use.While some expensive fins may give you more boost, for the price these can't be beat.RUNS A BIT SMALL: I recommend you buy them slightly larger than you need. I thought I'd need the Large, to size 11, but I'd tried them on in a store and found them too small, so the 11.5-13 were more comfortable.
