The Mini ABS+ Enclosure by Printed Solid is a compact and durable solution designed to optimize 3D printing in cold environments. It effectively manages high shrink rates of materials like ABS and Nylons, making it perfect for educational settings and high-traffic areas.

Somewhat lackluster
This enclosure is simple to assemble but not easy, heed the advice to use tape to hold nuts in place, since it's generally very fiddly to square everything up. The ABS parts were pretty spotted with dirty water fresh out of the box when I ordered direct from Printed Solid. Removing the backing from the laser etched acrylic was incredibly difficult because the etching was done through the backing and it took hours to coax every time part out. Right side panel is held in place with two very small washers instead of perhaps more appropriate fender washers.Post assembly usage was pretty disappointing. The front/back covers are not flush with the rest of the enclosure on my Mini 2. There were very large gaps over the top edge and sides. The holes for the frame posts are designed to be bigger than they need to be, of course, so that you can remove and replace it, but the were far too oversized compared to what they needed to be, leading to gaps along the right and left edges. The top was also oversized, which leads to the panel above the control box to not sit flush against the metal and instead takes a curve when you bolt it in place as the instructions say. The cutout for the spool arm was unnecessarily large since you don't really need that big a hole to thread the arm through. I still had bad warping and splitting of prints until I just taped it up with cardboard (long enough to print a removable cover available on thingiverse).Wanted to try and class things up a bit instead of an ugly plywood box over the top of the whole printer, and while it does look classier, for the price, you're giving up a bit of performance. Would not recommend.
