The perfect dog treat
This has been a HUGE help with clicker training. Plus, one of my dogs is a bit overweight so it's nice to be able to give him a treat he loves without risking his health. Lasts MUCH longer than I anticipated it would, and that's with three dogs who double dip (or triple, or quadruple...). One of the dogs even scrapes her tooth on the inside to take more leaving a little trench in the product, but it's still lasting much longer than I had anticipated. It did take one a few tries to figure out she needed to lick, not take, but once they all got it, they LOVE it. They wiggle when they see me pick it up. Even the overactive dachshund puppy has figured out some manners so she can earn a lick, which is almost a miracle in itself. Hilariously, the cats come out and sniff the tube, but they haven't taken the offer for a taste...yet.Of course, most importantly, there's nothing dangerous about the tube design. No little balls that might pop out, etc. It's designed more like Chapstick or a stick of deodorant. Also, the ingredients aren't the chemical mess similar products are.Since the Bark B Q flavor has gone over so well, I've ordered PB&J and Cheese flavors now too.I was a bit concerned this was a gimmick, but it's turned out to be nearly the perfect dog treat.Updated: All of the flavors have been just as successful, except for PB&J. My dog with allergies sneezed and coughed when he licked it so I gave it to someone else's dogs and he had no issue with it. Oddly enough, my dog isn't allergic to peanut butter so I'm not sure why this was occurring. My other dogs didn't have any problems with it. So if your dog has a history of allergies, I'd choose a different flavor. If they don't, it's probably fine. No issues at all with the other varieties.

This stuff was a lifesaver for my special needs dog!
A little over two years ago, my boyfriend and I had just bought a German Shepherd puppy from a local breeder. About two months after adding this fuzz ball into our lives, we learned that this newest addition to our family suffered from megaesophagus. Megaesophagus is a hereditary disease, and basically means that there's a pocket in our dog's esophagus that disables him from swallowing food like any other dog/human/creature does. Instead, it gets stuck, causes his esophagus to expand, and his body will try to regurgitate it to right things. In order to get around this, we feed him blended dog food of soup-like consistency in a goofy, special made high chair, letting gravity do its work for 30 minutes after he eats. Because of this disease, he was unable to have treats.Until we found this stuff! It's the right consistency that we can give him a little and it won't cling to his esophagus/enlarge it like other treats might. We do make him stand on his hind legs when he licks it since this stuff is thick kind of like peanut butter, but he loves it. As a bonus, our other dog loves it, too! It's great to have a treat on hand that both the dogs can enjoy.Make sure to put the cap on securely, otherwise this will dry out. It doesn't have the longest shelf life, but we usually go through it pretty fast. We let our dog who doesn't suffer from health problems take big chunks out of this snack.

Versatile reinforcer
I use Leanlix for clients whose dogs:* take treats too hard while we're in the process of training them to take treats more gently* have many restrictive food allergies* are working through a counterconditioning session* are on a reduced calorie diet* have megaesophagus* prefer lickable treats to chewable treats* have owners who have limited mobility and need to be able to offer a reinforcer at a slight distance* or otherwise need a lickable reinforcer instead of a chewable one.I appreciate having such a versatile tool at my disposal!

Good distraction
Dogs seem to enjoy it. They don't get crazy and try to lick or eat it to death. A great distraction. The one i really got it for just takes a couple licks and then is done. I guess still too excited about going on a walk or a drive to be distracted by it.

Excellent for training
These are amazing training tools. I'm a professional dog trainer and a vet tech. Using these for positive reinforcement training is great because it keeps my hands free of slobber while providing a reward that has zero delay and is always available. I've had good luck with all of the flavors. It takes some dogs a few minutes to get the hang of licking instead of chewing, but they figure it out.

Shaking idiot
My dog looses interest in this fast. I thought it would be nice to take to the park or on walks but I look like an idiot always shaking it

good for some dogs
the product itself seems fine but unlike a similar product, which has a roller ball liquid treat dispenser, instead of licking the treat, my pup tries to bite off a chunk - she might think its a food dispensing toy. Pup is still young - will probably try again when she is older & hopefully more licky and less nibbly/bitey

Scent is great! Felt as if it was awkward to use, dog wasn't a huge fan.

Not Much in The Container, Empties Really Fast
It wasn't as well received as I thought it was going to be with my highly food motivated puppy. As well as it was empty really fast. We did 3 training sessions using it to help him stack properly and it was gone.If the whole container was the product rather than just the first inch it would last much longer.Probably wouldn't buy it again.

good product but not for us
Sadly I'm pretty sure this gave my dogs diarreah. I tried giving it to them again with the same results. Maybe if your dog has a strong stomach it would be better
