I was very surprised when I got my set that all the pieces were actually made of decent quality plastic that held detail very well. I was also impressed with how easily they took paint, I ended up not even needing to prime most of the pieces. The set also includes a very good mix of furniture that is useful for creating nearly any indoor setting. I was also impressed by how intricate many of the tiny pieces are. Only notes are that some longer plastic pieces are slightly warped, but this is normal and easy to fix. Overall this is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone in need of miniature prop pieces. I cannot wait to try out some of their other boxed sets once I hav the money.

If you're a GM and you like having terrain, these crates are a great investment. I say 'investment' because they're pricey. That being said, I'd call the purchase worth it. It comes with some great pieces, and simpler molds like the tables can be ready with a simple dry brush and a wash if you're in a pinch. Make sure you have a container to store these in! There are a lot of tiny itty bitty pieces in this that are very easy to misplace.

Great scatter/detail terrain for D&D/Pathfinder or similar game types. Very detailed sculpts. Can bend- similar to Reaper or Wizkids, but nothing a hot water treatment cant fix.

Overall I’m happy with the pieces and quality of the terrain crate. They are great additions to most table top games. However when i received my recent order it was missing pieces. I got the adventurers crate and it was missing the pieces for the throne room, roughly 7 pieces. It’s not a make or break for it but it is unfortunate that it was incomplete.

I had to glue some of the objects onto a plastic game base. Butt sill satisfactory.

some of the thicker, harder to fix pieces have pretty crazy warping. not sure if boiling water will even be enough to fix them. the smaller pieces are no big deal b/c a hair dryer followed by cold water fixes them right as rain. still a decent buy, just be forewarned.

Showed up in pretty great shape. I had read other reviews about having bent pieces, which is why I bought this set of mostly solid block type pieces with very few thin items. I ended up with only one piece that was severely bent (weapon rack photo’d) but the other model of the same item was in perfect condition so I think it’s kind of a “take your chances” deal. I read that it’s pretty easy to heat them up and reshape them though, so it should be fine. Also, I think one of the little books and one of the tiny sets of bottles may be missing, but I might have just not found them yet as I haven’t fully opened the bags. They’re probably just tucked inside one of the other pieces or something. Overall, pretty please with the purchase.

Great selection of stuff however some of the nice features are bent, bent and bent! I’ll need to try find a way to sort this out so they can stand by themselves otherwise, count about 17 peices to not be of much use. I also had a piece (shown in the photo) that looks as if someone has spilt coke on it. I’m planning to message the seller to see if a refund of 10% could be made due to some of the quality being so bent and dirty however, all in all, there are a lot of good pieces that will bring your maps to life! Don’t be too put off, it’s not like your paying hundreds and there is no way you would get this much for this cost in many other places.

These are really nice looking and the brown color is perfect. Some bits are bent and won't stay upright like the armor stands and lamps. Fix it easily yourself like this: boil water in a water boiler and pour it over to some cup (see the image). Then immerse the bent bits into the water. Wait 20-30s and you'll see they start to straighten, pick them up, and let them dry in a position, which will let them keep the "straight" position.

Dies ist eine von 3 Terrain Crates, die ich mir bisher zugelegt habe. Die Geländestücke sind schön detailreich und eignen sich hervorragend um bei Tabletop Spielen das Terrain mit Leben zu füllen. Ich nutze das Gelände für meine Dungeons & Dragons Abenteuer - vermutlich genau der Einsatzzweck, für den es vorgesehen ist. Das Material, das Mantic gewählt hat ist ein leicht elastischer Kunststoff, was auf der einen Seite die Haltbarkeit erhöht, auf der anderen Seite aber leider dazu führt, dass einige (besoders dünnere) Teile in den Sets arg verbogen ankommen und dann erstmal nicht nutzbar sind, da sie immer umfallen. Dem kann man mit heißem Wasser oder einem Heisluftföhn abhilfe schaffen und die Teile wieder in die vorgesehene Form bringen. Hier sollte Mantic entweder ein anderes Material wählen, oder ihren Verpackungsprozess so anpassen, dass alles sicher und nutzbar beim Kunden ankommt. Daher leider ein Stern Abzug.
