Amazing but expensive
It's the best apple green tea out there however the price of $1 per bag is much higher than most other teas. If you reuse the teabag for 2 cups back to back its much better value but much other tea bags average about 30 cents.

Believe the reviews, this is really good green tea.
When all reviews are great I wonder if they are honest but I'm adding a 5-star review because this is good green tea! I really wanted to like green tea for the widely reported health benefits but found all green tea to be flavorless and a little bitter (especially if brewed too long, which I always seem to do). Another very annoying thing about a lot of green teas I tried is that the teabag ruptures, ruining the tea. Someone told me about this Yamamotoyama Sencha green tea and I finally found my green tea! It has a pale green color and a very pleasant mild herbal/flower flavor. Even when I brew it too long it doesn't seem to get very bitter. The sturdy pyramid teabag is sturdy but also biodegradable, which I like since I compost all vegetable matter. The box info says that the Yamamotoyama tea company is several centuries old so I guess they should know how to make great green tea.

Whatโs the actual quantity?
The product is fine. It is the quantity that is questionable. The description says โ 10 count (package of 6).โThat implies there are 10 teabags per box and there are 6 boxes per order. That is NOT the case. Only 1 box was sent per order. So what is the package of 6 ????

Fantastic quality!
This tea is ultra-smooth. The teabag itself is made from extremely high quality plastic. The packaging is lined with the shiny metal type lining you see on the inside of potato chip bags. I've written a much more in-depth review of Yamamotoyama's Genmaicha (roasted rice tea) which you might want to read first (just click on my name to read my other reviews; I try to be in depth).Taste: this isn't as bold or flavorful as regular green tea. It has more of a...vegetable flavor. I prefer Yamamotoyama's Jasmine, genmaichai, or normal green. Gyokuro is from the year's first harvest so has a different taste. I guess I could review olives too but that shouldn't mean I give them a 1-star rating just because the taste doesn't suit me. Others love them and would give them a 5-star. This tea is very high quality. Certainly the highest I've ever bought in bag form on the Internet. I felt rich drinking it too knowing it was about a dollar a bag. I initially got two boxes of 16 packs each. I can't say I'll buy them monthly, but I will definitely purchase them again.

The best green tea I have ever tried
First, let me say that I am a tea drinker but fairly new to green tea. All I have ever had in the past was pretty tasteless and left me wondering what the big deal was - until I had this tea. I am ruined for "grocery store" variety green tea now. The trick to making the perfect cup is to leave the bag in no longer than 3 minutes, otherwise it will get bitter. Add a teaspoon of local honey and it is fantastic! Since this brand is more expensive (but completely worth it) I use the bag twice and can get 2 cups out of it, makes it much more economical. I really feel the benefits of this tea justify the higher price and now have it on my Subscribe & Save list, which saves me even more.

Delicious
Completely delicious. There's only 10 tea bags though. Keep that in mind when ordering.
